Chapter 2:

Camri's POV

As they dragged me out of the maze, I guess into their part of the walls, there was immediately a splash of familiar scents. Bacon cooking, a bonfire going on, the wood being chopped off and sent off to builders, it was very familiar. I turned my head around and there was a bunch of boys. I've never been around this much boys in my entire life!
Minho and Thomas let me go carefully, still not trusting me, I might just take off back into the maze.

"Alby! Come here!" Newt yelled across the glade, the fake looking sun glaring onto me. It was almost like a spotlight, a burning spotlight.
My thoughts were interrupted when a humble, built looking boy came up to me. He had a serious look on his face.
"Is this another Greenie?"
Newt, Minho, and Thomas all shook their heads.
"We found her in the maze. She claimed that there are different groups seperated into the maze. She's from 'group B'. And she says that we are supposedly Group A." Newt answered, his eyes squinting from the arrays of the fake sun.
Alby raised his eyebrow. He looked over at me, "what's your name?"
"Camri. Camri Wilson. I'm from Group B, like Newt said. I don't mean to harm anyone in any way. I just want to go back to my group. It's getting dark and my friends would be worried..."

"Wait, hold on. Minho told me that there was a tattoo on the back of your neck just like us I guess. Is it true that you're our savior?"
I slowly nodded. If I lie to them, I already know that there will be some harsh punishments by the looks of around here.
"Well," Alby sighed, "I'm sorry, Camri, but I think you need to stay here a bit longer..."

My eyes widened. Stay here?!? With a bunch of boys I don't know?!? Hell to the no!
"No no no no! I can't!" I yelled, my bright Hazel eyes watering. I could feel the amount of eyes on me. I bet almost all the boys here are staring at me.

I looked over at Newt in the corners of my eyes. His eyes were full of sympathy, arms crossed, probably trying to resist hugging me.
Minho was looking down at his feet, trying not to make eye contact with anybody, especially me.
Thomas was closing his eyes, keeping them shut.
"No, please. Everyone needs me! I'm the only runner left! My brother just died a few minutes ago! Please! We want to get out of here as much as you do!" I cried out.

Alby looked down onto the ground and and shook his head, "sorry..."

I wanted to sob so hard. This can't be happening. What about Nadia? What about Amanda? It's turning really dark right now and I bet they would would be freaking out right now. Tyler was the only guy, that makes all the girls to like him. Even all my best friends liked him. It was quite awkward seeing your brother make out with one of your friends. It's horrible. Well shit, they'd probably care about him more than me anyway. He's basically the leader.

I looked back onto the ground and looked back up to meet Alby's brown eyes. They looked sorrowful. I gave him a small grin. At least be nice to him, he could be pulling me into cell by now but, he's actually really nice. Actually, all the boys I've met so far are really nice. I might as well be nice back.

"Look guys, I'll stay here for one week. If I like it here, I'll stay. But if something goes wrong and I'm the cause, I'm leaving. Deal?"
I took out my hand in front of Alby.

He looked into my eyes and shook my hand. "Agreed."
