EMILYS POV-
I shudder
"Kelly! Does the water have to be so cold?"
She nods And smiles sarcastically
"just trying to knock some sense into you."
"Ha. Ha." I smile "I can be a bïtch too!" I cup my hands and splash her.

"Oh." I mumble. "So Luke can get fixed but I CANT?"
She frowns "there was only enough money for one thing.. I just thought-"
"Thought what? That I wasn't selfish? Because I am selfish okay? I was willing to go blind so I didn't have to see things!" I take a breath and smile weakly "but I'm happy for him."
-LUKES POV-

Kelly explained to me how the operation would work. I would have to take the little chip and the doctors would insert it into the part of my brain that controls the basic motor skills such as speech. Then to the part of my throat that was damaged. And when I felt- or thought
