Aurora's POV

"You can do it Aurora!" Ethan shouts from the corner of the room. I groan as I try once again to shift into a wolf. Even though a wolf is only a few sizes bigger than a fox, it's still just as hard as trying to shift into a bear.

"Shut up," I growl quietly as I glare at him angrily. Immideietly he puts his hands up into the air as a sign of defeat and peace.

"Maybe it's enough for today," he sighs as I fall onto the floor groaning once again. "How about I get us lunch for today, you can pick whatever you want."

I light up at his words, I know exactly what I want and nothing in this world is going to stop me from getting it. There's no need to think twice before I exclaim:

"Pancakes!" Ethan laughs out loud at my enthusiasm for pancakes.

"I see we have a pancake lover here," he laughs as he walks towards the stairs leading out of the basement. "See you in a bit," he says with a smile on his lips before the door slams shut behind him.

My gaze travels to the training equipment beside me before I stand up. With determination I walk out onto the empty floor, my eyes meet the mirror in front of me. My eyes glow with a wild color of purple as my muscles twitch underneath my white dress.

I am going to succeed! No more failure and no more weakness.

I growl as I concentrate on shifting. My body shakes violently before I fall onto the ground in exhaustion. I gasp for air as I lay a hand onto my chest.

Why can't I do such a simple task? It's my own body, it's my power! Why can't I use a whole freaking part of myself? It's not fair.

I get up from the floor and restart the whole process. Once again my body starts to shake as my eyes glow violently.

Wolf! Wolf! WOLF!

Seconds later I stare at my wolf form in the mirror, a fully black wolf is seen in the glass before me. Behind me, I can hear the door slamming as Ethan walks down the stairs. I turn around and run straight towards him before running into him.

His eyes goes wide before I slam into him. A loud laugh leaves his lips as he huggs my furry body.

"You did it, you actually did it!" he laughs.

I did it.
