Forced by curiosity, Alice was still chasing the rabbit. Again, she couldn’t catch him to ask him where to go successfully. When she lowered her speeds, looking around the surroundings, she was in a park now. Alice saw a picnic blanket placing well under the cherry tree. On the blanket, the three decker sandwich looked tasty and delicious. Additionally, the orange juice was Alice’s favorite. During her adventure, the long walking distance made her stomach hissing and gurgling. Temporarily forgetting every elegant manner her mother had taught her, Alice started swallowing and had all the food roughly as if she were a gluttonous wolf. After finishing her meal, she saw an imposing lion statue and a fountain in the center of the park. Because of the brilliant colors of the statue, Alice closed to appreciate the perfect design. Strangely, the lion’s furs gradually became soft and flew with the breeze. All of a sudden, he revived, blinking his eyes hundreds of times, opening his mouth to satisfy his appetite. The lion yelled at Alice. She was frightened and stunned, trembled seriously and rushed to hide behind the fountain, wishing the horrible lion would not find her. The paradoxical silent maintained for a while. She turned her head to see what’s going on. The lion popped up in her presence and stared at her viciously. While the lion was opening his mouth to eat Alice, she was shouting ‘‘NO’’ with her arms waving. Her hands coincidently scratched his nose and the lion sneezed hugely. Some pork and his nasal mucus spurted on the ground. Suddenly, the devil vanished and turned into a tame lion. ‘‘Thanks for recuing me,’’ said the weeping lion. ‘‘Once I was a prince of a majestic kingdom called Liopia. The witch, on account of jealousy, used her black magic to produce a pig. When my father and I were hunting in the forest as usual, we saw it and desired to satisfy our palates. At the celebrating party, as soon as I had a bite on the juicy pork, I couldn’t help but finish the rest of it immediately. From then on, the terrible witch controlled mu minds. My temper worsened and I cannot stop myself from swallowing any creature in front of me, even my dear citizens and friends. For everyone’s safety, my father cast me out and prohibited my return before I recovered,’’ said the lion. Alice touched his head and couldn’t help but roll the tears, showing her sympathy to the misery which this lion encountered. After breaking the curse haunting the lion, Alice wiped her tears and reminded her purpose. Then, she asked the lion whether he saw a rabbit with a clock passing here before. ‘‘Yes, I did,’’ said the lion. ‘‘I know that he was jumping to a place called Indopia. Come! Ride on me! I’ll bring you there for your kindness,’’ said the lion.
