Those words lingered in her head. She couldn't help, but smile at the thought of it. She felt this strong connection towards him. What she was most excited about was the fact that Paul had asked her for her number which she gladly gave to. Bella and Jacob weren't found of the idea. Jacob said he was involved in some cult. Bella tried convincing the redhead from avoiding him, but Cat ignored them. Cat then heard a ding in her phone she quickly grabbed it and saw an unknown number had messaged her. A smile was brought up on her face after she read the message. It was Paul.
She created a new contact and named it Paul<3. She messaged him back saying hey. They talked all afternoon until it was time for Paul to go. They said their goodbyes. Cat laid on her bed until she fell asleep.

It was Sunday morning and Cat was bored out of her mind. She sat in the kitchen sighing over and over trying to get Rosanne's attention. "Yes?" Rosanne asked as she gave Cat a plate of pancakes. Cat sighed even louder. "Cat what's wrong?" Rosanne asked once again. "I'm bored. Can we go out shopping or go to a restaurant to eat?" Cat pouted. "Cat, you haven't even eaten your pancakes and you're thinking about what to eat later on today?" Rosanne scolded Cat. "Yes." Cat responded. "I'll see about it. I won't guarantee it though. I'm extremely tired." Cat squealed. She went up to Rosanne and hugged her. "I won't guarantee it though" Rosanne told the redhead smiling.
The young girls did end up having their fun. Cat was happy she was able to spent som quality time with Rosanne it reminded her of home. She loved going out to places and trying new things. They were in the car heading back home. Cat was looking out the window humming and admiring mother nature. She was lost in thought when she felt her phone vibrate. She took it out from her pocket as and saw that Paul had messaged her. From the corner of Rosanne's eye, she saw Cat smiling at her phone. "Who's that young lady?" Rosanne asked. "A friend I made in La Push. His name is Paul. He's really sweet." Cat said while texting Paul back. "Is he handsome?" Rosanne asked. Cat blushed and nodded. "Aww does my baby have a crush?" Rosanne teased Cat. "Rosie!" Cat shyly smiled feeling her views get warm. "Are you blushing now?" Rosanne chuckled. Cat quickly shushed her and covered her cheeks with her hands.
The girls arrived home and both made their way to their rooms. Cat went to sleep early since she had school the next day. Outside her window was Paul in his wolf form checking for her safety.

Another boring day at school. Cat was usually a happy person, but she hated Monday's. They made her feel sad. She tried her best to make it a nice day. Cat was making her way to lunch with Bella. They sat down with Jessica and Angela. They all we involved in a small conversation while Cat spaced out. "Cat?" Bella called the girl. Cat hummed. "It's about Paul, Jake said he isn't a good person. You should stay away from him. He's bad news." Cat shrugged. "I'm still going to talk to Paul. He's not what you think he is. He's sweet." Cat said. "You just met him. You don't even know him." Bella responded. "If he hurts you it's not on me." Cat started to feel irritated "I don't care I'm still going talking to him." Cat said and got up from her seat and went straight to the bathroom ignoring Bella.
She was mad.
Maybe her actions were a little rude and Bella meant no harm at all. She was probably worried for her, but she couldn't help, but feel mad. She might not know Paul well enough, but she knew better to not judge others before getting to know them. She shook her head and made her way out the bathroom to her class and ignored Bella the rest of the day. She felt bad for ignoring Bella, but felt it was better that way. She kept in mind to apologize to her tomorrow. After the incident the rest day went like a blur for Cat.
