Was one source of Cat's happiness. She loved singing with her friends, Tori and Jade. It made her feel alive. It was one of the ways she was able to express her feelings. She softly hummed waiting for Bella.
They decided to meet. They had decided to go to a karaoke nearby. She was going to apologize for being a little rude for leaving.
"Hey." Cat turned around and saw Paul standing there.
"Paul? What are you doing here?"
Cat couldn't help, but smile at the sight of him.
"I was just walking by and I saw your red hair from a far and though i'd say hello."
Little did Cat know that Paul was watching her from the moment she stepped out of her home. Sounds creepy, but Paul wanted to watch her to be assured she was safe.
They stared at each other for awhile till Cat broke the stare after getting shy.
"What are you doing here?"
Both Paul and Cat turned around to see Bella with a pissed face.
"Bella hi. Paul just wanted to greet me real quick. We met by accident."
Cat started playing with her fingers getting nervous. The least thing she wanted was Bella lashing out on Paul and causing trouble.
"Okay lets go."
Cat slightly pushed Bella and hurried her to make her way to her truck.
"Bye Paul. It was nice seeing you!"
Cat waved at Paul. Paul smiles at the girl and waved back.
One she entered the Bella's truck she got thrown many questions at her.
"Why does he always appear? What does he want with you? I swear if he-"
"Bella. Just let it go. I doubt that he's interested in me. He's too good looking. I'm way out of his league. I'm just an annoying girl with a mindset of a child."
Paulwas still looking out for Cat. It angered him that she thought that way of herself. He wanted to shower her with love and affection and tell her how beautiful she was.
"Cat, don't say that. You're an amazing person. I don't know who told you that, but you're a strong independent woman."
Cat sighed. Although she has sparked some interest for Paul, she was afraid to love. Her last and only relationship was not the best and is still quite scared her to try something new with someone else.
Bella started her truck and made their way to the karaoke.
"So, how's Hollywood Arts?"
"It's an amazing place. It's full of talented people. My favorite teacher was Sikowitz. Although he seemed quite weird. He loved drinking coconuts. I miss my friends the most. Especially Jade. Even though she was a scary person. I believe that she has some good in her, even if she denies it."
"That's nice to hear. My life was quite boring compare to yours. Arizona wasn't the best place. It's nice, but hot."
"It would be really hot sometimes for us too. Reminds me of the hottest day we had. I went to the beach with my friends. It was chaotic, but fun."
The two girls happily continued talking forgetting all their differences and arguments while making their way to the karaoke. Who knew their day would change in a matter of seconds.
