It had felt great. The boy was back up in her state over summer and they hung out nearly every day for the week he was there, doing different things every day. When he wasn't up in the summer, they spent that time facetiming until three in the morning, even sleeping on facetime.
But school had started, and it was horrible. She was back to sitting with a book. The boy and girl only grew closer as Halloween came around.
But at the Halloween Dance, Lisa came up to the girl and apologized. Being cautious, the girl accepted the apology and they became friends again. That night they became best friends again. They facetimed often after the girl would talk to the boy. But another boy had joined her and Lisa's facetime named Dylan. They all became friends. They even started calling one another brother and sister,
But Lisa, one of her few friends, had to move and the end of the summer, and since Dylan was a year older, he would have to go to high school.
She cried long and hard over Lisa moving but knew it would still happen.
The girl had gone through some stuff in the past three years. But, it was getting better.
