I was dared to kiss katie, I of course agreed. I came up to her and put my lips on hers. hers were soft and plump and I felt fireworks,hopefully she did to. I have come to the decision to ask her out on a date after the guys leave. after that we chose to play 20 questions on katie. we asked her the usual questions like what's your full name, any siblings, ect. but then I asked why her cheek was slightly purple. she looked up and her eyes were watery, "I tried breaking up a fight between my mom and dad, my dad was beating her and I couldn't stand it anymore. I ran in between them and pleaded for him to stop but instead of stopping he came after me ,he slapped me hard and so my cheek is purple because it's bruised"
What. Wow. she tried to break up a fight but ended up being beaten too. she ran out of my living room and I ran after her. she closed the door and I opened it back up to follow her but she was on my porch crying.

I was on Luke's porch crying when I heard a door open and close. someone sat beside me, I looked over and It was luke. "why are you crying?" He asked "I left all my memories at home, good and bad. all my friends don't even know what's going on in my life and they don't know I left." I started to cry even more.
