Luke sat in his truck outside Gretchens house staring at the door. Knowing she wasn't home. If she was home all the windows would be open and he would hear music or the tv on. He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel and rolled down the window. Luke hadn't been here in a for a very long time. Luke climbed out of his truck locked the doors and went to the back yard. He took a deep breathe and climbed up to the ledge outside Gretchens window. Luke leaned his head against the window sill. Luke laughed when he remembered that he was drunk until about 3 am , then stopped laughing when his head started pounding. He say with his legs dangling over the ledge and thought horny teenager Luke thoughts. And drinking thoughts. Until he fell asleep.
Gretchen sat quietly in her room. She knew that someone was outside her window. She also knew deep down that it was probably Luke. And this is the first time he's shown that he might just miss her. But all she did was take a shower and go to bed.
