-Ellie's POV-
Once lunch finally came around, I made my way up to the library. After saying hello to the librarian, I walked to the back of the room and saw Carter sitting there
"Hey" I smiled sitting on his lap
"I missed you" he pecked my cheek
"Really" I laughed "I was gone for three hours"
He shrugged "Don't care"
Carter pulled me closer and kissed me softly. I moaned quietly and tangled my hands in his hair. After what felt like hours my phone began ringing. I sighed, pulling away I answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hey honey it's dad. How's school?" he asked
"It's alright yeah" Carter began kissing my jaw which was very distracting.
"I just called to say that I have a business trip to go to tonight" he said sadly
"Awh. Where to?" I asked him swatting Carter who chuckled
"I have to go to Amsterdam" he answered "Who was that laughing?"
"Oh okay" I tried to sound a little bit sad "And that was just Carter. We're in the library reading"
"I'm sorry honey. I'll be here when you get home but then I'll have to leave yeah?"
"It's okay. I'll be fine"
"What is it?" Carter mouthed to me
I put my hand over the receiver "Business trip" I whispered and he grinned
"I'll be gone for about a week and I'll leave enough money for you and your brother"
"That's alright dad. Listen I have to go now, I see you tonight yeah?"
"Okay hun. Bye"
"Bye" I hung
Slipping my phone back into my pocket "Stay over tonight?"
"Hell yeah" he smiled kissing me again

"Ethan!" I called to my brother who was standing at his locker talking to his mates
He told them to wait a minute before walking over to me "What's up?"
"Did you get dads message?" I asked him
"Oh yeah I'm probably gonna have people over" he answered
"Alright" I shrugged "I'll just have Carter as usual"
He frowned "Does it have to be him? Why don't you get a friend who's a girl maybe?"
"Eh. They cause drama" I rolled my eyes "Anyway are you coming home with us?"
"Nah I'll get a lift off Ashton" he shook his head
"Ashton? As in Ashton Irwin?" I asked
"Yeah how do you know him?"
"I'm supposed to help him in Maths that's all. I see you later" I waved him goodbye and he went back to his friends.
