_____________♧ACE POV♧____________

-

The current atmosphere of the house was so dense, Ace wanted to chock from the awkwardness he felt. Everyone was quiet, almost too quiet. Ace didn't sleep much last night, In fact, he didn't sleep at all if you didn't consider the hour he closed his eyes in. It was fine, after all that had gone during the night, he couldn't get himself to relax knowing too well his sister must be suffering the next room. And oh, he was damn right. According to what he is seeing right now, April, as well, couldn't sleep. Her puffy eyes that were evident were exhausted by her cries. Black bags underneath her beautiful eyes, indicating her lack of sleep.

Currently, everyone was seated at the breakfast table. Due to the tense atmosphere around them, everyone had their eyes planted to their plates...well, except a clueless Aron.

Aron entered the food court, yawning. He looked extra cheerful today. Stretching his tense muscles, he didn't notice the difference today.

"A very good morning to you all" he declared, voice almost an octave high.

Their father finally glanced at someone, but it wasn't a pleasant glance but rather a threatening one. That was noticed by April herself. In contrast to the clueless Aron mumbling happily about the food.

Ace just wanted to be digested by the grounds rather than witness this day. He knew his father had a bad temper so he wished he wouldn't use it. He just wanted things to go smooth. It felt selfish.

"Father" April said tensely.

Their father glanced at her, nodding slightly. "Speak"

April, on the other hand, looked uncomfortable to talk with Aron in here. She trusted her brother of course, but it was rather a private matter she needed to consult her father first. Ace just happened to know about it because he was out late.

"Can we speak....more privately?"

Her father looked worried for a second "Sure" he wiped his mouth with his handkerchief, clearing his throat and motioning to April to follow him.

Ace sighed once they left, feeling the least bit relieved. Because at least, his father was the most mature one of them, and he could take matters unbiasedly.

Glancing back at the only Alpha in the room, Aron blinked at the entrance finally feeling something was wrong.

"I don't know if this is my Alpha instincts, but I feel the need to kill someone"

Ace snickered at his brother's confused look "I shall accompany you then"

Aron shook his head "no, be serious...what is happening" a pout was formed on his lips indicating his confusion.
