The end.
Isn't that just the best beginning to a story? Well for this story it really did start with the end.
The end of the world as we know it.After multiple countries plunged into WWIII, bombings, terrorist attacks, and international hacking destroyed the life we've gotten so accustomed to. Terrorists released a biotoxin that rarely affected men and instead affected women and children. Not all women and children, some lived and went straight into hiding. But most died with in weeks. The entire electrical grid was demolished, leaving all things that used electricity useless. Governments were dismantled. The world was practically back to a primitive age inside the dead carcass of our old world. Many died. However there was a good amount of people who were able to outlive the event.

She needed to find help.
Someone.
Something.
Hours went by in the middle of the night. The sun was just beginning to rise when she saw horses riding towards her. She wanted to yell for help but she was so tired...
"Help!" Her voice was so faint as the riders got closer to her.

If I sleep I might not wake up...Just a little sleep...
She closed her eyes and fell to the ground.
