She woke up still under the stars... but not where she last was.

She was now at a small camp area around a fire with two other men. She quickly grabbed the nearest weapon that just so happened to be a gun and aimed it at one of the men.

"HEY CALM DOWN! I'm here to help!" He yelled putting his hand above his head. She aimed it at the other and he put his hands up too.

"You're hurt. Let me help you. I promise I won't hurt you." One man said gesturing to her face. She kept the gun aimed at them as she slowly backed to a small pot of water, maybe for boiling food. As she looked in the reflection, she saw the blood and cuts on her neck and face.
She had really been beaten up but she didn't remember anything. She wasn't even sure why she was so afraid of the two men even after she knew she was screaming for help.

"Does she even speak? Maybe the slice messed up her vocal cords?" One asked another. There were two men. One had light brown hair and looked sweet but who the fuck knows. He did have a nice smile. The other had bleach blonde hair that just about covered his eyes and a plain black bandana covering his nose and mouth.

The sweet one pointed at himself.
"I'm Jung Hoseok. That's Yoongi. See... friends?" He tried to get her to smile but nothing. She was strong.

"Here, I'll make a deal. How about I get you some food, you keep the gun and he takes care of those cuts. How does that sound?"

You could cut the suspension with the knife. It was thick and filled the air. But soon she lowered the gun and nodded softly. Hoseok took off his jacket and handed it to her. She suspiciously put it on and zipped it up to cover herself.

"I don't even know why were wasting our time on her..."

"You're a doctor didnt you take some oath or something? Shut up and patch her up."

Yoongi approached her slowly and pulled out a medical kit from their bags. She held tight to the gun as he started to clean her up. She had a bullet wound on the back of her shoulder, strangulation marks around her neck along with a slice up the side of her jaw that had bled quite a bit. Yoongi had been a doctor for a few years now but this was the worst he'd seen on living human being. It turned his stomach.

"I've sewn up the cut on your face and the bruises should go away with time but that bullet wound is difficult." He sighed and looked over to Hoseok.

"The bullet feels like it's lodged in her shoulder blade. I can't take it out here. We'll have to just bandage it up until I can find a place I perform surgery."

"What's your name?" Hoseok asked her.

"I'm-"

She couldn't remember it.

"Why do you need to know that?" She tried to put on a stern front. Yoongi rolled his eyes and Hoseok smiled sympathetically.

"Here. It's not much but it should keep your stomach full for the next few hours at least." He handed her a bowl of soup.

"Thank you." She slowly.

"You don't want the meat?" Yoongi asked.

She looked down at her down bowl and realized everything was gone besides the meat. She unconsciously didn't eat it.

"I don't think I eat meat..." She was just as confused as the men.

"Fuck! She'll never make it out here. We might as well sell her back in town!" Yoongi laughed.

"Yoongi! No! Shes a human being and she didn't do anything to you!" Hoseok yelled.

"Whatever. I'm going to sleep. We leave at dawn." He replied and got in his sleeping bag. This left her and Hoseok alone.

"You don't remember anything do you?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" She tightened her grip on the gun.

"I can tell you don't know your name. And you were surprised that you didn't eat the meat. Your mind must have shut out everything with a goal to shut out what ever trauma have you those." He pointed to her wounds. She looked at herself and then back at him. His intentions were true and you could see it in his eyes.

"I promise you're safe with me." He held out his hand. She looked down at the gun and handed it to him which he put back in his waistband.

"Hmmm..." he looked closely at her and smiled that sweet smile.

"Why don't we call you Artemis? You know, like the old Greek goddess of hunting? Something strong, like your personality."

She smiled finally and loved her name.

"Okay."

"Let's get some sleep." He rolled out a sleeping bag for her and with in minutes she was out like a light.
