The Team

"What the hell are you guys doing here?" Jungkook hissed.

"Your little get away plan came to find us to help you." Yoongi pointed at Artemis.

"You found them?" Jungkook looked scared and protective of her, holding her close to him.

"She traveled through the woods, alone, to get us to you. You should thank her that you're alive." Hoseok smiled. Jungkook looked back at her and into her tired and weary eyes.

"You should get some real sleep. I can go out and get some food..." he stood up and grabbed his knives.

"Actually I'll go with you. We need to stay two to a group." Hoseok got his fishing pole to catch some fish. Jungkook eyed Yoongi carefully.

"Don't think I won't slice your fucking throat if you touch her at all. I'll kill both of you and feed your bodies to the bugs." JK threatened.

"Understood!" Hoseok interjected. Yoongi looked like he desperately wanted to say something but he bit his tongue and shut up.

As the two that went hunting wandered off into the forest, Yoongi pulled out his medical supplies to change her wounds on her shoulder.

"Thank you for helping him..." her voice was soft and sounded very tired.

"I still don't get why you like him so much. So what? He did one good deed. You act like he's god or something..." Yoongi pulled down one side of her shirt.

"He was a stranger that showed me compassion ...just like you and Hoseok. I'm nothing but greatfull for that." She looked into his eyes. For a split second yoongi felt a connection between them but quickly looked back at her wound. As he pulled off bandage, the bullet wound was obviously extremely infected. The black and blue discoloration from is was spreading to her upper arm and part of her back. He cleaned it up as best as he could but this didn't look good at all.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Uh... yeah." He changed the bandage and patched her back up.

Down at a nearby river, Hoseok was waiting to get any bite while, jungkook gutted and cleaned a pheasant he killed.

"You're good at living in your own." Hoseok let his toes dip in the water.

"Well I kind of have to be since you guys keep hunting me down." The young boy hissed back.

"I was only doing what kept me and my brother eating." Hoseok hit back a little.

There was a little bit of silence.

"What is she going to eat?" Hoseok broke the pause.

Jungkook looked around and found a bush with berries.
"She's has these before and they should keep her full for a little but not long." Jungkook filled his bag with as much as he could find for her. After hobi caught a few small fish, the two met the others back at the campsite.

When they all finished eating, Artemis stood up and took her hair down from it being tied up. This immediately caught everyone's attention.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook stood up.

"I really need to bathe. You said there's a river up there? I was just going to wash off for a bit." She yawned.

"Okay. I'll come with-"

"Are you joking?! You want to watch her bathe? Fucking pervert." Yoongi cut in.

"Fine then she doesn't go. I won't let her be by herself. She could get taken or-"

"I bet it's nice controlling a woman like that. YOU decide what she does. YOU decided where she goes. I bet it's nice." Yoongi just loved speaking his mind.

"Why don't we give her 15 minutes to let her bathe with some privacy and if she's not back by then, we can go look for her. That way she can be her own woman and we can keep her protected." Hoseok offered.

"That sounds great. I promise I will be careful." She gave Jungkook a hug and hoseok pulled out an automatic watch as she left into the woods.

"Now that we've save the idiot from the perv, there's a more pressing matter at hand." Yoongis time was a bit lower indicating this was important.

"Her bullet wound looks really bad. I have to take that thing out of her or she'll be dead in less than a week."

"Then do it. I know you have medical supplies with you." Jungkook acted like it was that easy.

"We have to get her to a hospital. Somewhere  he can actually do the operation." Replied Hoseok.

"I think you've forgotten that THE WORLD IS UNOPERATIONAL?!"

"I am a doctor. I just need the tools and a sanitary place. Not the people, you little shit."  Yoongi growled.

"Where's the closest large city?" Jungkook backed down a bit. Hoseok pulled out a map.
"We should be fairly close to daegu. Maybe a day's walk? We could leave in the morning. There might be some food for her there too."

"She will have to be carried most of the way. If she does anymore strenuous activity, the infection could flow faster through her bloodstream and cause her to go septic and I can't do anything after that." Said Yoongi.

"Wait, isn't daegu overrun with gangs? You really think I'm gonna let her go there? Why don't we just go straight to gyeongju?"

"SHE WONT MAKE THAT! You'll fucking kill her!" Yoongi yelled.

Silence again during the tension.

"Plus I have a contact in daegu. He can get us through with our her being seen."

"Fine. But if ANYTHING is sketchy, me and her are leaving you two in the city." JK threatened.

"Guys... it's way over the time for her to come back..." Hoseok looked at the watch.

All three men grabbed every weapon they could and ran down to the river.
