Change of hearts

What?

Elizabeth POV
I saw Meliodas standing there. I thought he might of need something so I asked.

"Oh um do you need anything?"

He stared for a split second and then reacted.

"No I just heard that Diane and king might be here and came to look for them. That's all" he said with a poker face.

"Oh well they just left you can catch up to them if you leave now" I said in all honest. I really didn't want to talk to anyone after what happened.

"Right I Uh I'll leave" he turned around and left. I swear that for a minute there was a hint of disappointment in them.  I wonder why 

Meliodas POV
For some reason I wanted to stay with her. I really didn't want to leave after what happened. I stayed there for a while then left. Tomorrow some one is going to pay a very high price.

The next day I got up early and left. There was some one stuck in my head that I couldn't get out. Non of the sins were going to be here since they had to do something back at home. I was on my own for now. Doesn't matter though I got things to take care of anyways. I walked in the class room and my eyes went straight to the silver haired girl next to my seat.

I went over not taking my eyes off of her. When I sat next to her I noticed that there weren't any bruises on her. Weird I thought the punches would have let some. I wanted to talk to her and befriend her so I started a conversation.

"Hey." I said in a bored voice. Which made her flinched.

"Oh hello" she said in a soft sweet voice.

I decide to test her trust on others so I asked about yesterday

"Why were you in nurses office yesterday?" She froze

" I Uh wasn't feeling good is all" she lied

"Huh and you didn't finished cleaning the juice you spilled last time"I said remembering that time. "I had to clean it up"

"Oh I'm so sorry I was in a hurry" she looked down. Soon enough the person I was looking for came in. "Hey as a return switch seats with me" I said. She looked confused and didn't move. " now" She then moved to my seat and I moved to hers.

Since Aurthur didn't know that I was there when he beat up Elizabeth I had the upper hand in this. He came to sit next to me and had a confused look.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"This is my class duh" I gave him a bored face.

"No I mean why are you sitting here. This isn't your seat." He pointed at Elizabeth then at me.

"Well I wanted to sit with you plus i think we got off the wrong foot why not start over" I said with a smirk hoping I don't give anything away.

"Sure why not" he said. Bingo I thought that's going to be my first shot. The teacher came in and I started glancing at Elizabeth. I couldn't help but notice her wrist. She would write a few words flinching every time and then stopping relaxing it. It looked like it was hurt. The class ended earlier then usual. Soon I heard a small snore next to me.

I turned and saw Elizabeth sleeping. Dam she must be tired to sleep with all this noise around. Her back pack was on the table resting her head on it making her arms go around the backpack. I decide to take a peek at her wrist hoping she wouldn't wake up.

I moved closer and I could smell that sweet scent that calms you. I reached for her hand and moved her sleeve down. I was shocked at what I saw. There were cuts on her. They seemed fresh because there was a little dry blood.

She cuts herself.
