All the four of us?!

Elizabeth POV

I was paired with Aurthur. Not good. That's when meliodas raised his hand.

"Yes meliodas?" The teacher asked.

"Can I switch partners?" He said it a little irritated.

"And why is that? What's wrong with Liz.?" She asked raising her eyebrow.

"Yeah what's with me?" Liz spoke up in a sad voices. But just so we're clear she has a crush on meliodas. A huge crush.

"What is right about you. Your so dam clingy and you make rumors up for fun" meliodas said in disgust.

"Meliodas do not talk about someone like that" the teacher raised her voice. Making him roll he's eyes.

"Well can I?" He asked again.

" and who do you wanna be with then?" She asked alittle curious to who this boy wants to work with.

"Elizabeth" he answer straight forward. Making the teacher react shock. "Elizabeth?" Liz repeat shocked too.

"Why her. Why not me" Liz grabbed his arm bringing it close to her chest. While he tried to pull back.

"Because she's the opposite of you Liz." He finally broke free from her grasp.

"Aurthur what about you? Are you alright switching Elizabeth to Liz?"The teacher asked.

Aurthur looked at Liz then at me. " actually. No. I want to work with Elizabeth" he said starring at meliodas. This made meliodas mad. Really mad.

This was like a little movie for everyone in the class. So entertaining.

"Well meliodas I cant let you switch. You'll have to work with Liz" she finally said.

"Da faq!? I don't wanna work with a rat." He slammed his hands on the table.

"Then you can work with some one else. I'm sure some wants too" the teacher said back.

"No i want to work with Elizabeth" he yelled.

"Meliodas just forget about her." Liz said ruffling his hair with her hand which got smacked by meliodas.

"No. Don't touch me!" He said.

"FINE. fine. Why don't you four work together." The teacher was getting tired of this conversation.

The four of us looked at each other. Wait what? All of us ? I asked myself. This can't be good. Not to mention Liz looks mad at me. Aurthur and meliodas were glaring at each other.

" okay it's settled. Aurthur, meliodas, Liz, and Elizabeth will be working together. Our projects are going to be about human emotions. And instincts. Is that clear." She said handing out papers for the project. Everyone understood what had to be done.

Class soon was dismissed to go home. Tomorrow we will be at the library to start it.

I packed my things and was one my way home until meliodas came up to me.

"Hey. You walking home today?" He asked. I only nodded a yes.

"Can I walk you?" He asked again. This was pretty sudden and surprising. But it's better than him being a jerk. " are you sure" I said softly.

" yeah plus I'm not in a hurry to get home." He said smiling. Wow who knew a smile can make me warm inside. "Okay then." We left and he walked me home. It wasn't as awkward I as thought it would be. We actually talked about things.

Soon I arrived home and waved him good bye. Before stepping inside I took a deep breath then went inside. I got inside and saw my father on the couch. Drunk again. And my sister in the kitchen cooking something.

I just walked pasted them not wanting to talk to anyone right now.

I got to my room and took a shower. I put on some comfy clothes on. I soon heard the dogs barking.

That's right. River and pierce are together. I thought. I went to the back yard and saw the 2 dogs playing with each other.

"Well river you've been here longer than you were supposed to. I have to take you back." I said while petting dogs. As soon as I looked at my hands they were full of dirt.

"First let's clean you guys up" I said grabbing the supplies to shower them.

After a while. They were all cleaned. I got the leash and connected it to their collars. Then walked out of the house.

Hmmm if I remember correctly meliodas' house is this way i thought to my self.

After a few turns I reach his house and knocked on it.

No one answered. Maybe I should have called no one seems to be home.

I knocked again but this time I heard foot steps. They soon opened to reveal and boy with black hair and a similar appearance as meliodas.

"Uhhh can I help you?" He asked.

"Oh yes uh I came to leave river back. He was staying with me for a while."I said gesturing the dog.

"Oh river" he said surprised.He soon called him over and river listened this time.

"Thanks uh day what's your name"he said. Letting river in.

"I'm Elizabeth" I said with a smile.

"I'm zeldris. Thanks for watching river" he also smiles too.

"It's no problem I would love to look after him again." I said waving good bye. He did the same then closes the door.

After That I left home with a mountain of homework to do. All well I sighed to myself.
