You all appeared in a cartoon scene, dressed in fancy and colorful clothes.

"Wow!" Georgie exclaimed, looking around in fascination.

"What just happened?" John asked in surprise.

"Where are we?" Annabel wondered.

Jack lifted his hand and tapped the bowl, causing a clink. "Looks like we're in China, so to speak."

Your eyes met, and you rolled your eyes with a smile.

Mary Poppins slid down the hill flawlessly to the broken carriage. "Over here, everyone. This wheel won't fix itself."

The kids followed her down the hill, and you and Jack shared a nervous look before sliding down together.

At the end, you were caught off balance and crashed against his chest.

"Sorry," you said quickly, your face heating as you stepped away.

You notice that his cheeks are a bit pink too, and you smile just to yourself.

You all worked together to fix the wheel, and the dog that controlled the carriage- Seamus-offered you a ride to the Royal Doulton Music Hall.

Jack offered his hand as you walked over, and you grabbed it gently as you stepped up to the seat.

The journey was quick, and you watched in awe as the hall appeared before your eyes.

The six of you walked inside with excitement, barely believing what was happening but not wanting it to end anytime soon.

The children got seated in the front row with their cotton candy, and Mary Poppins sat beside them.

"Miss Y/N." Jack placed a hand on your arm before you sat. "How would you like an adventure?" His eyes sparkled as he waited for your answer in anticipation.

You smiled. "I would love one."

A grin broke out on his face, then he beckoned with his hand. "C'mon, then."

You followed him to the side of the stage, where your clothes magically changed to be purple and pink, before Jack pulled you onstage alongside him.

You were hit by the bright spotlight and by a spell of anxiety, but realized quickly that this all could be dream and could go away so quickly so what did you have to lose?

"Bucks and mares, cubs and does, welcome to our show of shows!" Jack introduced happily.

You saw Georgie put Gillie in his very own seat and smiled.

"It is our great honor to introduce this evening's renowned guest..." Jack continued, and the two of you shared a knowing glance.

"The one, the only-"

"Mary Poppins!" You exclaimed together, and the crowd exploded into claps and cheers.

Jack hurried to the front of the stage and held out his hand.

Mary Poppins stood with a smile, then joined us onstage, much to Jack's and the audience's delight.

"Sing for us, Mary Poppins!" Said an animal in the crowd.

"C'mon, have a go!" Jack encouraged in his cute Cockney accent.

She was quickly convinced, and once the music started, you realized you were about to be pulled into a musical number.

The curtains opened just a bit wider to reveal a large book on the stage, which Mary Poppins stepped behind to change. "Uncle Gutenberg was a bookworm, and he lived on Charing Cross," she began, and you and Jack shared an excited smile. "The memory of his volumes brings a smile."

The song quickly picked up, and you suddenly found the lyrics in your mind, and the tune suddenly familiar.

You had all launched into the chorus a couple of times before Mary Poppins spoke to Jack. "Give us the one about the 'Dirty Rascal', why don't you?"

"Isn't that one a bit long?" He asked.

"Well the quicker you're into it, the quicker you're out of it."

Jack looked over at you. "Miss Y/N, how would you like to do it with me?" He held out his hand.

"I'd be honored." You took it, and he led to you to the middle of the stage with him.

Another large book opened, and Jack began. "Once upon a time, in a nursery rhyme, there was a castle with a king, hiding in a wing.
'Cause he never went to school to learn a single thing."

He stopped, so you stepped in. "He had scepters and swords, and a parliament of lords, but on the inside he was sad-"

"Egad!" Jack cut in dramatically.

"Because he never had a wisdom for numbers, a wisdom for words. Though his crown was quite immense, his brain was smaller than a bird's. So the queen of the nation made a royal proclamation: 'To the Missus and the Messers, the more or lessers, bring me all the land's professors', then she went to the hair dressers."

Jack didn't miss a beat. "And they came from the east, and they came from the south. From each college they poured knowledge from their brains into his mouth."

You continued going back and forth, and it went by in a blur of talking too fast and dancing and singing and smiling and flushed cheeks and beating hearts and shared looks and just lots and lots of warm fuzzy feelings.

"But a cover is not the book!" You all sung together. "Ta-ru-ra-lee ta-ru-ra la la la!" You finished triumphantly.

Grinning from ear to ear, you and Jack joined hands and bowed, but when you straightened your back, you were standing on Michael's doorstep.

You stood there for a moment, confused, trying to decipher if what just happened what real, or if you had just blanked out for a few minutes and had a very realistic dream.

"Miss Y/N."

You looked over in surprise, and saw Jack standing by his bike on the sidewalk.

You hurried over to him, once again in your normal boring clothes in your normal boring world. "Jack. I didn't imagine that, did I? You remember being in bowl, right?"

He laughed, a sound that was warm and comforting like hot chocolate during a blizzard. "No, you didn't imagine it, miss. Though I do think Mary Poppins will try to convince us that we did."

"Yes, that sounds about right."

You both smiled and looked away shyly.

"Well, I'll see you around, Jack."

He nodded. "'Course. So long, miss."

He swung his leg over to get onto his bike, and you turned, messing with your fingers.

"Jack," you said suddenly, turning around.

He stopped in his tracks, looking at you hopefully.

"I just wanted to say thank you. For the adventure."

Jack smiled, tipping his cap. "Anytime."
