Kay's POV

He ran out of the classroom and down the hallway. He's kind of cute, the way he's so easily excited. I followed him out of the room as my usual leisurely pace stopping just outside the entrance to the bathrooms as I waited for him. As I waited I got a few looks form passing girls. A few of them came up to me and tried to strike up a conversation but because I'm currently preoccupied with the cute brunet in the bathroom, I ignore them as best as I could without coming off as too rude. One girl even tried giving me her number and asking me to go to watch some movie with her but I polity declined her offer. I'm not interested in getting involved with any of them at the moment. He's taking a long time. I must've really riled him up. I laugh at the thought. He really is fun to play with. He finally came out and was startled by my presents. I had to hold back a laugh when Ren's face went bright pink.

"What do you want?" He looks so flusters, his eyes frantically looking around the hallway trying to avoid my gaze. It reminded me of a sheep trying to get away from a fox that had cornered it. How fitting.

"Nothing. It's just that you ran out so fast I thought something was wrong. Let's just hope no one saw your not so little issue." I winked at him and leaned against the stone wall.

"Saw what? What issue?" It took him a while but when his face turned a cherry red I knew he'd figured out what I saw and understood my meaning. He turned right around back into the bathroom again. He's even more than cute now. He's adorable, but I can't let him know that. Not yet anyway. I followed him in and found him in the stall furthest from the door.

"Come on out. I don't think anyone other that me saw." I could see his feet shift uncomfortably.

"Saw what? I really have no Idea what you're talking about"

I was starting to became a little impatient with him but I was able to regain my composure before I started to lose my temper. "Now don't play dumb. You know exactly what I'm talking about." My voice came out cold, practically echoing off of the walls as I put my hand on the handle to the stall Ren was hiding in. What a silly boy. He left it unlocked. I opened to boor to his still pink face.
"What are you doing?! You can't just come in here!" He was even more frantic than before he rushed in here to hide from me.

"Calm down you idiot. It's not like you were really using the bathroom." I looked down and it
seemed like he had gotten rid of his "problem". I lifted my gaze again and Ran had gone from cute to furious. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone about what I saw. Maybe."

"What do you mean 'maybe'? And tell people what? I still don't know what you're talking about"
I snapped. I was fed up with his playing dumb act and leaned over him as my arms slammed against the cold stone to formed a cage around his head. "What do you think-"

I cut whatever he was going to say short as I began so speak. "Listen to me. I won't say anything about what happened in class just now if you let come over to your house after school. You have until the end of the school day to give me your answer." I slipped a card into his shirt pocket. "Here's my number when you're ready to give me an answer." I walked away without waiting for him to say a word. As I was walking down the hallway trying to regain my composure, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Ren, face still tinged pink from what happened in that bathroom stall. "Fine."

"Fine what?" It was my turn to play dumb now, just so I could hear him say it.

"You can come over, but you can't say a word of what you saw."

"You have my word." I gave a small playful bow. "I'll see you tomorrow at six." I gave a short pause before I spoke again "Romeo." A grin tugged at my lips, but this time I didn't try to hide it.

Ren's POV

"I hate him! First he blackmail's me and now he's coming over to my house." I was sitting on my bed practically screaming into my pillow. I was telling Amanda about what happened over the phone when the doorbell went off. "Speak of the devil. I have to let you go. The nutcase is at my door but I'll keep you updated throughout the night". Amanda gave me a short goodbye and I hung up, setting my phone on top of my desk. I walk down the stairs and opened the door to see that Kay was standing there with his hands in his hoodie pockets. He looked even better than he did as school today. He had changed out of his plane white t-shirt and nice black sweatpants into fitted ripped black jeans and a red plead button up. Stop thinking about how good he looks! He's blackmailing me. How can that even cross my mind?

"Who is it Ran?" I hear my mom call from the living room.

"Just someone from school. We have to work on a project for our studio art class." I let Kay in and he set his backpack down on the floor. His amber eyes were curiously looking around our entrance way, taking everything in.

"You have a lovely home Mrs. Darrow. I should make coming over a habit." He looked over and gave me a wink that sent chills down my spine.

Before he could say anything else, I showed Kay up the staircase and into my room. When we stepped inside the doorway and made sure the door was closed behind us, I let out some of my built up anger. "What was that all about?"

"What do you mean?" I could tell he knew what I meant because right after he said that he just smiled that same devilish grin. I was slowly starting to loath that grin.

"You should make coming over a habit? Like hell I would ever let you being here a regular thing." All Kay did was smile at me as if to say We'll see about that. I let my hands fall to my side, exhausted from his antics. I let it go for now. I just want to start this project and get him out of my house.

Kay walked over to my bed and lied down, his stomach showing where his shirt had lifted. It's like he was trying to turn me on. He sat up and was looking in my eyes now. "Where should we start?"

Fuck. I was so busy being mad at him I didn't even think about what we would talk about.
"Why don't you start? I can't think of anything to ask other than if you can be any more of an ass."

"Feisty. Well, I know you like to paint, but I haven't seen anything of your's yet. Do you mind if I see what you can do?" That same grin was touching his lips again. His Amber eyes almost glowing.

"Uh...sure...Hold on while I go get some." Damn. Why am I so flustered? I'm just showing him my paintings and working on a project with him. Pull yourself together Ren! I rummaged through the back closet where I keep all my finished paintings and found a few that were good enough to show to the devil sitting in my room. I re-entered the room with three large canvases in my hands. I set them on the bed next to Kay. I found myself hoping he liked them.

The first one was of a girl, about our age, walking down a street at night with a road that looked as if it was made of water, the way that the lights and stars reflected off of the asphalt in a million different dancing colors. The second painting looked like the viewer was looking up at the night sky from underwater, surrounded by too many trees to count. There vision was slowly going black. It was like they were drowning but it gave off this feeling of acceptance and almost serenity. The third painting was of a young girl in a light blue dress sitting on the roof of a bird house with a robin peeking it's head through the small opening, It's head almost bigger that the girls body. It looked to be fall, with all the different colored leaves in the background. It gave off Alice in Wonderland vibes.

Kay looked almost taken aback and to genuinely like them as first but then quickly regained his usual facade of indifference. "Not bad pretty boy. Not bad at all."

"Thank you..." I turned away when I felt my face heating up.

"What's this?" I turned to find Kay holding one of my sketchbooks. I wouldn't have cared if it was any other sketchbook I had except that one. That was my privet book. I drew a lot of things in that, most of which I would not want anyone to see. He opened the book before I could stop him to a drawing of cat boy and a wolf boy doing some very provocative things. God damn it! I ran over and grabbed the book out of his hands, holding it tightly against my chest. "Don't ever touch my things without asking ever again!"

"But why not? You're such a good artist. I loved the way the cat boy's face was so...erotic." My face want a shade of red that was unnatural. No one has ever seen these, not even Amanda, and now a jackass like Kay just saw them. I'll never hear the end of the comments from him.
