12:00 am.

It was 12:00 am and we were going to break Benji out.

This was going to be difficult.

"Evelyn. Your going to cover all of the cameras so they can't detect movement. Go. Now. And take your time." Ash said.

"When she gets back Ash and I are going to sneak down and get Benji. But it'll be easier if he's not talking. We're gonna knock him out first and then get him out." Vin said.

"And what do I do?" I asked.

"Lookout."

Oh great. Look out.

"Have you never seen an action movie? The look out doesn't do anything!" I whisper yelled.

"Shh just be the look out!" Ash said.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine but don't expect me to not get in a fight."

That's when Evelyn came back.

"The cameras are covered you guys are good." She said.

"Ok. We're going in." With that they disappeared behind the corner.

"Good luck!" Evelyn whispered.

"And to you as well." Ash said as they descended down the stairs.

"We're the lookouts." I said in a boring tone to Evelyn.

"Oh. Sounds like fun!"

"No you idiot. Not fun. It's boring and nothing ever happens when there's a-"

Just then there was a sound.

"When there's a wha-"

I put a hand over her mouth.

"Sh!" I squinted my eyes.

Something is here.

The kitchen light turned on.

Shit.

It was Diego.

He looked at me and Evelyn and yawned.

"Oh. Hello girls. I'm sorry if I startled you. I just came down for a glass of milk."

Uh-

Who the fuck drinks milk?

"Oh. It's ok. We just didn't want to wake anyone up by making a lot of noise." I said in a bubbly tone.

"No need to worry about that. Everyone here are fairly heavy sleepers." He said after pouring a glass of milk.

"Oh. That's good I guess." Evelyn said.

"Would you like me to turn the lights out?" He asked once the milk was back in the fridge.

"Uh. Yeah it's hurting my eyes just a little bit." I said fake rubbing them.

"Of course. I'm sorry for scaring you. You girls have a good rest of your night now." He said and left without another word.

Well. That didn't go as planned.

Not complaining though.

Lying to him was like taking candy from a baby.

It just has to be a girl that does it.

Damn that's sad.

A couple moments later I was fed up with this look out shit.

"We're going to go get Benji." I said.

"Didn't they say to wait here?" Evelyn asked.

"Yeah but nothings gonna happen." I said walking towards the basement.
