•Chapter 23•

"Mr. Jeon I'm really sorry but I just really think that I can't do it. I really did my best but I couldn't find anyone and I don't think I will" Taehyung apologizes to Jungkook's father, bowing respectfully.

He is admitting that he won't be able to find someone for Jungkook.

"Taehyung, stop bowing. I just asked you because you are good at what you're doing but if you can't do this and that isn't any problem" Mr. jeon answers, smiling friendly.

"The only thing I want to ask you is if you want to learn Jungkook to have a proper date" he asks the younger who nods.

"Of course I will. Are you going to look for someone yourself?" Taehyung asks out of curiosity. The older man nods. Taehyung didn't know if he liked hearing this.

"Taehyung, I'm really thankful for everything you are doing and I want to thank you for trying and being honest with me" Mr. Jeon says and Taehyung smiles. "I love my job" Taehyung answers and after that someone storms into the office.

"Dad I can't find Tae-" Jungkook starts while he walks in but stops when he sees the older standing in his dad's office.

"Here you are!" Jungkook says before jumping on Taehyung's back. The younger made sure Taehyung saw him coming though.

Taehyung quickly wrapped his arms around the younger's thighs. "Is school already over?" he asks, looking at his watch. 3pm. "Yes I don't have any classes anymore today"

"Good, we have a lot of work today anyway" Taehyung says while walking to the door with the younger still on his back.

"See you later Taehyung" Mr. jeon says and Taehyung smiles at him before leaving his office. They walk to his own office where Taehyung let Jungkook fall onto the couch.

"We have a lot of work today?" Jungkook says with a pout on his face. Taehyung couldn't help but smile at this. "We are going on a date" he says and Jungkook groans.

"No! Not again.. who is it this time?!" Jungkook starts complaining but than he stops when he realises what the older just said. "Wait.. we?" Jungkook asks.

"Are we going on a double date?" Jungkook asks again, his face showing disapproval. He didn't like the thought of Taehyung going on a date with someone.

What he didn't know yet was that he was being jealous of himself.

Taehyung laughed softly what made Jungkook smile too, feeling warm inside.

Jungkook got from the couch. "We are going on a date" Taehyung said, making sure the we was clear.

"Just the two of us? Like with each other?" The younger asked to make sure he got it right.

He felt himself heating up and he was sure that his face was totally red already.

"Yes, Just the two of us, together" Taehyung said before pulling him out of the company.

Jungkook followed gladly, realising that he liked Taehyung a lot.

The younger didn't realise yet that he was actually head over heels in love with Taehyung.

You can imagine when Jungkook discovered that Taehyung took him on a date to learn things, he was more than disappointed.

He thought that maybe Taehyung realised that he wasn't joking yesterday when he told the older one that his dad and he liked him.

Apparently that wasn't the case. They were already at the dessert and Jungkook had a great time. He listened to all the rules but at the same time he was giving Taehyung a nice time.

He made sure to make Taehyung laugh so now and then and he made sure to act as a gentleman. He made sure to show interest in the older one, what wasn't hard because Taehyung was interesting.

Taehyung was still wearing his work clothes. His trousers and shirt had the same pattern and honestly if Jungkook saw someone wearing that outfit he would think they were in their pajamas but for some reason it worked out so well on Taehyung.

Suddenly Jungkook remembered the little box he had pushed into his back pocket earlier today and he thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give it.

Jungkook saw a pair of earrings on his way to the office and he couldn't help but buy it for him because they would fit him just so well.

After eating their dessert Jungkook puts the box on the table. Taehyung looks at it and frowns. "What is that?" he asks.

"Isn't it cute to bring a present on a date?" Jungkook asks, smirking a little bit. "It's a little early for that on a first date but well" Taehyung answers and Jungkook pushes the box closer to him as a sign to open it.

Taehyung smiles a little shyly and opens up the box slowly, exposing the earrings.

"I saw them and thought they would look good on you" Jungkook explains, taking them out of the box and leaning in to put them on.

"How did you even know I had the holes? I never really wear earrings?" Taehyung asks while Jungkook starts putting on the second earring which was way longer than the first one.

There faces were really close, Taehyung couldn't look at the younger properly because of how close they were.

"I noticed the little holes in your ears"

"You notice little details like that?"

"I notice a lot about you" Jungkook blurts out. Only realising how weird that was moments after he said it.

"I mean.. I notice a lot of little things in life. I'm very observing even though I don't look like it" Jungkook continues, smiling awkwardly.

"Thank you kookie. I really love them"

Jungkook felt himself heating up again. His belly was doing weird things and he felt empty in his head until the older one started talking again.

"This date was perfect. If you act like this on your next date it will work out perfectly fine"

"You already have someone else for me?" Jungkook asks not even trying to show how irritated he was by it.

"I gave up. You're dad will be looking for someone"

Jungkook didn't answer but just sighed deeply.

If only the older one knew how badly Jungkook wanted this date to be a real one.
