Sanskar knew his family would have been shocked but until he told Swara everything about his past , he never once assumed there could be a possibility that Kavita was alive somewhere ,it would mean she left him but it would be much better than the truth that she died because of him .
He met Kavitha in college , she had been Laksh friend ,a fact that surprised him at first and later learnt from Kavita that she had turned down Laksh flirtations so often that they ended up becoming friends instead , it was through Laksh ,he met her and two months later Sanskar had asked her out for a date .
It had been a valentine's Day and when he learnt she got no date of her own ,he offered to take her .It was supposed to be date with friends but they got along well that night . He wanted to give them a real chance and six months later ,he was in love .
He had made a mistake of introducing her to his family , he never assumed they would not like her until he learnt differently. His mother demanded that he must break up with her and his father remained silent as his uncle layed down the law . No Bengali would become a his daughter in law .
At that age ,Sanskar had assumed they would change their mind. Still Kavitha was afraid that they won't change their mind and in his impuslviness he asked her to marry him . A marriage would bring in his family approval if not it would at least make Kavitha trust that he won't give up on them .
He only told Laksh about the said wedding and tasked him to bring Kavitha to the register office until his cousin came alone that day , Laksh told him that Kavitha changed her mind and left him a letter but Sanskar refused to believe it . But when he went back to her hostel ,she had been missing .
He searched for her over a month and almost believed that maybe Laksh had been telling the truth that when it come to marriage Kavitha freaked out or maybe she didn't want to marry with out his family support ,he was slowly accepting her departure until he learned from one of her friends that Laksh did indeed pick her up that day .
So he confronted his cousin only for him to lie straight to his face that Kavita didn't get into his car that day , and so he began to search all over again until one day he learned that Laksh did indeed pick up Kavitha but drove her to the Maheshwari industries instead to meet with his uncle .
It was the first time Sanskar realized his cousin not only broke his promise but choose his father over him . It wouldn't have mattered if he learnt that Kavitha was somewhere safe but he feared that wasn't the case .
He confronted his uncle right in front of all his family and yet he never said a word about her , he claimed to have never met her . Laksh and his uncle kept lying to him over and over again even when he began to plead with his uncle to at least tell him if she was alive . It was that sentence that broke Laksh self imposed silence .
" Dad ,just wanted to talk with her .She left after he paid her .She didn't really love you Bhai ,we were only trying to protect you " Laksh words made him furious because the girl who has been his friend didn't need his distrust . But no matter how much he screamed no one believed in him over his uncle .
Because he knew Kavita ,the girl he loved would never choose money over him and so he continued to search for her until he went a little mad , that he began to believe his uncle did indeed kill Kavitha because a person just doesn't disappear like that without reason .
All he wanted was revenge and the truth from his uncle ,he had hoped to ask it out of him when his uncle sees a broken hearted Laksh and when his uncle loses his company that Sanskar had slowly began to take over . He had a plan to make durgaprasad Maheshwari weak enough to confess but he didn't expect Swara to take it up with him .
