~Rhett's point of view~

The next morning I sat in the studio sipping on my coffee, waiting for Link. I waited and waited...

The crew walked in. They asked where Link was, I told them I didn't know.

A few hours past, the crew left. As I got into my car, I pulled out my phone. I dialled Links number called him. I heard a phone ring, I looked around and found Links phone.

"Fuck..." I mumbled. I dialled Christy's number and called her.

"Hello?"

"Hey Christy, it's Rhett. Is Link around?"

"Umm... He's still in the spare bedroom, he won't come out. And he won't even speak to me. Maybe if you tried to talk to him..."

"Okay, thanks Christy. I'll be over in a minute."

I started my car and left the studio.

As I pulled into my driveway, Christy was standing at her door. I got out of my car and walked next door to Links house.

"Hi Christy..." I mumbled.

"Are you alright?" Christy asked.

"No, I'm just worried about Link..." I replied. She looked at me and smiled.

"He's alright, Rhett... At least he comes out for meals..." She tried to sound happy. I hugged her, then we went into the house.

As I walked past the living room to the hallway, Lando ran up to me.

"RHETT!" He screamed.

"Hey buddy!" I smiled as he ran up and jumped into my arms.

"Are you going to get daddy out?" He looked at me with sad eyes.

"I promise that I will try to get him to come out, okay buddy?" I looked at him.

"Okay." He replied. As I set him down, he ran down the hallway to his room. Christy took a seat on the couch in the living room.

As I walked past the spare bedroom by accident, it opened a crack. I heard footsteps coming from inside the room. I went to the door and went inside. I then closed and locked it. I slowly turned around to face Link.

"Link..." I sighed as I sat beside him on the bed. He looked over at me. His redish eyes broke my heart. I looked down as my eyes overflowed with tears.

"Rhett... I'm okay, I really am..." His voice came out shaky. I couldn't stand it, it was tearing me apart. I stood up and walked over to the door.

As I put my hand out for the handle, Link grabbed my waist and spun me around. He grasped my waist tighter, and pulled me closer to him. My stomach filled up with a swarm of butterflies. He leaned in and kissed me very passionately. I kissed him back. Our lips matched each other's movement.

He stopped and let go of my waist. He walked over to the window and stared out of it.

"Link... So, you're just going to kiss me like you've been in love with me for years, and than just walk away?" I asked.

Link turned around, his eyes weren't red anymore, but his face was. I realized that my cheeks were burning. Could this mean... I love Link as much as he loves me?
