We walk up to the duo (?, i dont wanna say couple :P).
"H-Hello?" Vincent stuttered.
The fair-skinned man turned facing us. He looked familiar but I can't seem to put my finger on it.
"Hey?" A deep voice came from the man. The man's face turned to shock, "Oh— It's you nerds! Zak's sleeping right now. He told me if I saw you guys to say that he's very sorry and will do anything to make it up to you guys. WhatACuteCasual." The man muttered the last line under his breath, but I heard it.
For some reason I felt jealousy? Why? That's a little strange...
"Mhmmm..." Zak stirred diverting everyone's attention towards him.
"Actually, I found Zak in the alleyway. His hair was messy and he had a few cuts on his face. One looked deep but the blood was dry unlike the rest. Weird, huh?" The man said.
Vincent looked back at me nervously and turned back at the man. "H-He is okay though, right?"
"Uhhh..." The man turned to Zak, still sleeping on the table, "Should be." He took a sip of coffee.
Vincent continued to talk with the man before saying, "Wait, Darryl do you remember him?" Vincent gestured at the guy.
"Hmm..." I thought for a long while— maybe 5 minutes— before saying, "T-Techno?"
"What happened to this casual?" Techno—or I think that's his name— said.
"He lost his memory," Vincent said, "Wait come here." Vincent whispers something in Techno's ear going like, "Zak—happened—on purpose?—won't say—true—"
Vincent backed away, still looking at Techno. "He wouldn't do that. Trust me, I've known him for a while." Techno said while shaking his head.
At this point, we've already been there for 30 minutes. I searched my pockets, checking for any money.
Yes! 14 dollars! I can pay for some food- OoO and maybe a coffee! Or maybe I should get some stuff for—
"Mhmmm! Ah!" Zak groaned, waking up. Zak slowly lifted up his face, showing the soft skin littered with bloody cuts.
"D-Darryl? Vincent?"
