My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 4: True Feelings

Isabella finishes in the shower. She steps out wrapping a towel around herself. She brushes her teeth, then her hair. She takes her time drying it then pulls it up in a high ponytail. She then walks out in her towel hearing her phone ding. She walks over to her phone picking it up. She looks down at him rolling her eyes when she sees a text from David.

David: Hey baby! I miss you! I'm sorry about last night. Can we meet up later and talk about it?

She thinks about meeting him then she looks over at the nightstand and sees Rob's note.

Isabella: David after last night I've decided I'm done. I don't want to work things out. All you do is try to control me. I'm tried of not being able to hang out with my brother and my friends. So after this conversation I'll be blocking your number. Don't try to contact me again. Goodbye David!

After she sends the message she blocks his number and decides to text Rob.

Isabella: Hey Robbie! What happened last night? The last thing I remember was you singing on stage and fighting with David. Then going inside and drinking some Whiskey and everything after that is a blur.

She sets her phone down and grabs Billy's T-shirt and pulls it back over her head then walks to his bedroom and grabs a pair of sweatpants pulling them on. She walks back to the spare bedroom. She picks up her phone seeing she has a text from Rob.

Robbie: Hey Izzybear! We need to talk in person. Billy's coming over later. Come over with him and we can talk.

Izzybear: Ok Robbie! I have to go home and get clothes but I'll come over with him.

Robbie: Sounds good Izzybear! See you soon.

She smiles and heads downstairs to find Billy. She finds him in the kitchen making coffee. "Morning my lovely brother. It's been ages since I stayed at your house." He turns grinning at her. "Good morning my beautiful sister. Yes it has been a long time. Ever since you started dating that idiot boyfriend of yours." I grin back. "Ex Boyfriend! I'm done with him. I'm tired of all his crap" Billy smiles "About time! You want some coffee." Isabella nods taking a cup and sipping. "I'm going to run to my house and grab some clothes and go with you over to Rob's."

Izzy and Billy talk and drink their coffee. When they are done drinking Izzy says "I'm going to run home and change. I'll be back in a little bit." Billy smiles. "Bring a bathing suit we are going to go swimming Rob's pool." She nods blushing slightly. Isabella leaves and drives to her house. When she gets there she pulls on her daisy ruffled bikini swim suit then pulls on a tank top and a pair of her jean shorts. She lets down her hair.
