Chapter 10 High society

"Come here, the dinner is ready!" Can shouted as he placed the tray on the table near the window. Tin was almost asleep near Good who was resting on his arm. Tin glared at Can, then he slowly moved away to stand up. He reached the table and looked at Can

"What do you want now ai Tin?" 

"Don't you think that you should start being more considerate?" 

"What are you talking about?"

"You told P'type that he was too loud but you shouted twice in a few minutes, what's wrong with you?" 

"You're boring ai Tin" Can said looking at his plate. Tin was already eating, he was the only one in the couple that actually did something to make Good feel comfortable. Tin'sphone ran and he immediately ran out of the room 

"What do you want?" 

"Is this the way you talk to your brother? Where are you?"

"Oh come on don't act like you're concerned about me" 

"Can you answer?" 

"I'm in a hotel with my boyfriend, anything else?"

"Why did you leave without telling me?"

"Maybe because you don't really care about me? Or maybe because you're simply annoying? I'm still thinking about what was the main reason in that specific moment, but I have to admit that they're both pretty legit. Bye P' traitor" 

"Wait!" it was too late, Tin wasn't listening anymore. He came back into his room to see if Good was awake, Can already finished eating, he took a chair and placed it near Good's bed, he was looking at it. 

"Sorry ai Good...sorry ai Tin..." 

"ai... Can..." Good said slower than usual since he was still sleepy

"AI GOOD" 

"Why are you yelling ai Can, he was just asleep" Tin said smiling, this was his sentence but his smile showed that he was pretty happy that Good looked calm now. 

"Ai Tin, P'No called me a moment ago and he said that they're all downstairs, do you want to come with me? And you ai Good?" Good and Tin nodded, they were already out of the room, TIn was about to lock the door when Can asked him... 

"Who called you before?"  Tin locked the door and let the key fall into his pocket, he sighed and looked at him

"He was...my brother... "

"Why did he call?"

"Can we talk about something else now? I'm pretty sick of even hearing about him..." Can looked at him for a while, then he sighed and started walking, or better running, grabbing Good's hand. 

They arrived downstairs, Techno, Pond, Ae and Pete were sitting on the couch and the armchairs of the hall. 

"Ai Can! Come here! You can take whatever you want, I won't pay tonight!" Techno said laughing. As Tin, Good and Can sat down Type arrived

"Ai Type!"

"Ai No, don't drink too much, rememer you're a lightweight, I guess that Pete would be able to drink more than you"

"Actually P'" Pete said worried

"Oh don't think about it, I was just joking, byt the way...Waiter! Would you please bring a bottle of whiskey?" Tharn nodded and cam a few minutes after with the bottle Type requested

"Thank you" 

"Ai Type, why isn't Tharn going to drink with us?"

"Because he's working, obvious right? I now have my own slave"

"You know that slavery ended long time ago right ai Type?"

"I don't know what you're talking about" Type replied looking really serious

The smile on Techno's face disappeared

"Ok ai Type... I don't want to make you mad so... let's talk about something else..."

"Yeah right...ai Ae, where is Ping? I thought he wanted to join us" Pond asked

"I...I don't know" Ae looked quite nervous and Pond immediately noticed that.  Pond stood up and grabbed Ae's wrist, he looked at Pete and said

"Don't worry, I will steal your boyfriend just for a moment" Pete smiled and nodded. Pond and Ae reached the outside of the hotel, the sand of the beach was already under their feet. 

"Is there anything wrong with ai Ping? Why did  you look nervous when I mentioned him?"

"No.... I'm not nervous... what are you talking about?" 

"Come on ai Ae! Tell me what's going on!... no... ai Ping... isn't related to..."

"What am I not related too ai Pond?" Ping said

"I think that ....I should leave you alone now... " Ae said as he came back inside

"Ai Ping... do you want to tell me...what's going on?" Pond asked

Ping walked closer to the black water. 

"He asked you that...right ai Pond?" Pond nodded, Ping looked at the starless night

"Ai Pond... I'm aware that I'm about to destroy our friendship but... you know that I have to tell you this... right?" 

"Do you...."

"Yes ai Pond... I love you, and you won't even imagine how difficult it was to hide it for the whole time... " Ping didn't look at Pond for a single moment, his voice was calm but he was crying

"You... you know that I like you, you're one of my best friends... we still have our friendship, I'm sure that you will find someone else... a better guy..." 

"may I...hug you?" Ping asked, the other one dind't replied and hugged him

"We're friends, we shouldn't hide such thing, ok?" Ping was now crying without contrlo so a sob came out instead of yes

"let's come back inside"

From the window of the hall Good saw the scene, he couldn't hear what they were saying but he saw that they were hugging, it was too much, at first he was ready to get into the elevator and go back to his room, then Can called him...a sea of alchol was probably enough to drown his feelings
