Chapter 18 Enough is enough

"Ai Tin, wait here ok? I have a surprise for you" Can said leaving their room, Tin kept thinking about the surprise when someone called him. He took his phone.

"I'm sorry, can you come back now?"

"I won't come back! Clear?" 

"Remember that I'm your older brother! You can't reply like that!"

"Yes you're older, I think that this means that you will probably die before me, and now go to hell"

"How dare you! Listen here, you have to come back, you know that my son love his uncle come on"

"Tsk, you're just trying to convince me..."

"He wants to play with you, you know how important it is, please come back"

"Are you begging me?"

"Wll...at least this phone call is longer than usual..."

"This phone is about to finish"

"Tin! If you won't come back... you won't see my son again and I won't give you money"

"You won't do that, you have to keep the picture of the perfect brother, right?"

"Yes you're right... but Tin, if I said those things it was just because I was a child, move on"

"Move on? I trusted you! I thought that you loved me like a brother should do! You're a liar... it's your fault if I thought for so much time that I couldn't trust anyone..." Tin's eyes started watering since that was basically the first time he really talked to him about what he did

"Tin listen to me... I"

"Shut up! I'm with Can now...I won't leave him just because you want me to come back for one of your silly ideas! Clear!?"

"Tin... I'm sorry...  I don't want you to forgive me since I know you won't do it... I was just worried..."

"Worried? Do you think that I'm so stupid to believe you?!"

"I didn't mean that..."

"And what did you mean then?"

"I know that you hate me... but... may you fulfill my wish?"

"What wish are you talking about?"

"I would like you to introduce Can to the whole family... properly... then you can do whatever you want, I will support y...your... cho...choices..." Tin's brother started stuttering, Tin heard that he was probably crying, he sighed

"...dream on" the phone call ended. Tin's brother smiled, he knew that it worked, the last two words that Tin used weren't characterized by the usual rage, the dream on sounded more like a maybe. 

Can listened to a large part of the conversation between Tin and his brother from the other part of the door. When he heard it was finished he opened the door and shouted

"SURPRISE" he entered followed by his sister and his mother who covered their ears since Can shouted using the whole amount of air he had in his lungs. 

"Why do you always have to shout like this P' Can?" his sister asked

"Oh come on, so ai Tin, did you like the surprise?" Tin nodded but he still had that sad look after the phone call. 

"ai Tin are you ok?" Can asked worried 

"Yes..." 

"Oh come here nong Tin, I will protect you from my rude son" Can's mother said hugging him. Tin started crying. 

"Hey! P'Can you shouldn't let your husband cry like that!" Can's sister didn't realize that an embarassing moment was about to arrive due to a simple and innocent word

"Sis! Who told you that I'm his wife?!" both his sister and his mother remained shocked, then his mother turned back to Tin 

"Be careful, your wife can be really dangerous... but don't worry, your mother in law will teach him a lesson if it's needed" Tin looked at her and laughed

"Shit! Is there anyone who cares about me? Huh?" Can yelled

"Will you ever talk in a more elegant way? Look at your husband and learn from his behaviour"

"Sis!" 

"Shut up" she replied hugging his future brother in law

When they finished hugging Tin asked

"But... how do you know that..."

"oh right, your wifey is such a coward that he didn't have the gut to tell it personally, he didn't tell only that he's gay in that phone call, but that you're his boyfriend too" Can's sister replied. 

In another room 

"What are you doing ai Good?" Ping shouted 

"I... I..." Good, that was usually really slow, this time he couldn't even make a proper sentence 

"What? Why did you kiss me?"

"I love you..." 

"You what?" Ping said, his voice was in the middle between shocked and annoyed, noticing more the annoyed part than the shocked one, Good sank to the ground and covered his face. 

"I love you... I love you ai Ping... I can't stop loving you... I'm sorry..." Ping knelt down in front of him and hugged him. 

"Ai Good... sorry if I sounded ... rude... I didn't mean to..."

"This will ruin our fr...friendship... but... I had to confess it... I'm sorry ai Ping..." Good said still crying

"Aww don't worry,... I will tell you something so you will feel better ok?" Good nodded

"I confessed to ai Pond too... but after that we are still friends" 

"When...did this happen?" Good asked

"A few days ago... on the beach"

"So...when you hugged him... it wasn't because you're...a couple..." 

"No, don't worry, do you want to come with me downstairs and drink something?" Ping said standing up and grabbing Good's hand. Good nodded and they both left the room.  

Lhong woke up in Tum's room, Tum and Tar were watching the tv, one from the little armachair near the window and the other was beside Lhong. As Tar noticed that Lhong was awake he ruffled his hair. 

"P'Tum! The rapist is awake" Tum stood up and came closer, almost face to face with Lhong

"You're awake finally, did you enjoy our little game?"
