Alexis’s POV
It was getting very …… awkward? I was waiting for Anna to show, god how long did it take her; she’s a wolf for god’s sake. Everyone’s eyes were on me and I really wanted to know what they were thinking. I just needed to somehow touch Edward then I was all set. I always wanted to know what people were thinking without touching them (she stole Aro’s power).
“Soooo……” I said dragging out the o. “you guys have some interesting powers” I stated motioning to everyone that were now all together in a group staring me down with the wolfs next to then giving me a death glares.
“How do you know what our powers are?” asked I guy in the back.
“She a stealer!” whispered another guy in the bunch shocked. He has the power to tell others powers like I stole from someone and is probable stunned by all the ones I have.
“ Ahhh!” I faked hurt. “That’s not a nice way to say it I merely copy peoples powers” I turned to Edward “but yours interest me, what’s it like hear everyone’s thoughts all the time?” I asked truly interested.
“It’s not like anyone would think, you can’t turn it off when you like” he explained looking at me curiously, most likely wanting to know why I would ask.
I walked over to him and stuck out my hand. This earned me a couple of growls from the big puppies. Edward looked at my hand then at me. God don’t these people know how to shake hands.
“Alexis Olivarri” I said trying to get the point of holding my hand out. He finally realised what I meant and went to shake my hand.
“Don’t touch her!” the guy I found out was called Eleazar yelled knowing what I was going for. Before Edward could move his hand with my lightning fast movement that's faster than a vampire, I grabbed his hand then quickly let go jumping back a little so the wolves didn’t attack, all the while giggling about how stupid Edward was I just told him I copied people powers to!.
It was amazing I could hear everyone’s thought but unlike Edward I could decide when I wanted to use this power and had better control. ‘I told him not to touch her!’ someone’s thought screamed getting my attention. I sort out the thought and it lead to Eleazar but I already knew that due to the sound of his voice that was his thoughts.
Edward was just standing there looking confused until he read Eleazar thoughts then turn to me with an angry expression. “Wow calm down didn’t I just tell you I copied people powers, and you went and touched me” I managed to finish without laughing
I heard a …… wolfy laugh? Coming from a couple of wolves in the pack, which earned another glare from Edward. God where is Anna?!
I was suddenly really concerned about Anna, she should be here. It was all quiet they could tell something was wrong, probable by the look on my face. I was pacing back and forth when Carlisle broke my panicked state “so your niece she’s not a vampire?” he asked.
“No” was my quick answer.
“are you okay?” he asked looking at me concerned.
“She should be here” I mumbled but they all heard.
Renesmee was wriggling in her mother’s grip reaching out to me; Bella look worried but the put her on the ground. Renesmee was making her way over when the 2nd biggest wolf came up behind her and grabber her little back pack she had on and dragged her back. She looked at the wolf annoyed and started to struggle. I took a step forward getting a low menacing growl “I won’t hurt her” I told him while looking him in the eyes to show I was telling the truth. He slowly let go not wanting to.
I could tell even without reading his mind that he had imprinted on this little girl and it was killing him watching her as she made her way over to an unknown person, so i motioned for him to come.
Renesmee was now in front of me with the wolf she called Jake next to me watching my every move. She reached up for me so I bent down and sat criss cross on the lightly snow covered ground. She didn’t waste time and climbed straight into my lap.
She touched the corner of my electric blue eye and said “pretty”. Then touched my cheek using her power asked ‘Anna?. I use her powers that I copied when I touched her nose and showed her Anna in her wolf form. Renesmee closed her eyes to see it better and was lost in the image of Anna as a wolf.
