Alexis POV
Renesmee was on my lap lost in the in the images of Anna I was showing her. Everything was quiet s and everyone’s eyes were on Renesmee and I. I was watching the adorable child that looks around four sitting on my lap eyes closed and a smile on her lips that brought out her cute little dimples.
All of a sudden a loud howl filled the air, it was full of hurt and pain and sounded horrible and would bring pain to anyone who heard, but for me what brang the most pain was that I knew that howl all too well it was the howl of Anna.
I stood so fast that little Renesmee tumbled to the ground and I got and hateful growl from Jake but he stopped mid growl when he saw my face, it probably mirrored the howl full of pain and hurt and most of all fear, fear for Anna.
“Alexis” Carlisle started I turn to him and looked at him my eyes nearly spilling bloody tears and then I ran, ran as fast as I could in the direction the painful howl came from. The branches of trees hitting me hard as I ran and the wind strong against my face all stopped dead when I seen the most horrifying thing ever, three vampires leaning of very Anna in her wolf form what was once so beautiful now cover in red blood all over her body. I could now tell that everyone from the clearing had followed me to this gruesome scene and were all staring at Anna in shock.
“Anna” I breathed out in a shaky breath, and as she heard me she slightly whimpered which got her a kick in the ribs from one of the vampires.
I don’t know what happened, I think seeing Anna my most important person, best friend and family on the ground bleeding to death set of something deep within me and triggered a change that shouldn’t have happened until my body matured or not have happened at all.
My body started burning and it became so painful that I let out a scream, it felt like my skin was sizzling and something was under my skin trying to get out. I fell to the ground screaming, I was now on all fours on the ground screaming in the most pain I have even felt in my whole 80 or something years of my life.
All my screaming got the attention of the three vampires standing over Anna. They were thinking they were going to kill me fast because I smelt good so they had to finish the mutt of quick.
It in all went in slow motion one of the vampire lifted his fist ready to crush Anna’s skull I let a enraged howl forgetting all the pain and jumped at the vampire shifting mid air.
