Three years had passed since Audriana had left, but they were bare able for Draven. Every time Valin had a milestone, she would either send a picture or video. Then when he started talking, she would call him and let Valin babble to him. Even though he enjoyed these interactions, he still missed the sound of her voice. Due to whenever she did call, she never spoke a word to him.

At first it had frustrated him to no end, but then eventually he understood she was hurting as well. So he stopped trying to force her, and just welcomed the call or text he received. Although this day was extremely stressful, as he dealt with the council and it seemed like. It was a split choice on how to deal with Simone, most were in favour to bring her to trial. While a few didn't outright agree, with her but they also didn't disagree.

Then there seemed to be more humans, joining the pack wanting to mate. As the wolves were spurred on, by the fact that their Luna was in fact human. It's not that Draven wasn't happy pack numbers were increasing, but he just had so much on his mind. At times like these he just wished that, he was able to hold his mate and son. The items they had left, helped for awhile. Yet after three years, their scents have all but disappeared. Leaving him yearning for them, and because of that he no longer stayed at his mother's house.

He had just laid down in bed, when he heard his phone softly vibrated on his nightstand. Sitting up he looked at the name, and instantly became worried as he saw that it was Audriana's number. Answering it quickly he waited to hear Valin's jumbled sentences, but was stunned into silence when Audriana spoke. "You need to try and relax, because I can feel your agitation from here." Staring wide eyed at the wall Draven, didn't know how to respond since it's been so long.

"Please don't stop." Came his voice finally, which slightly confused Audriana. "Please don't stop talking, I've missed your voice." He heard soft rustling on her end, and then mentally face palmed at how he sounded. As he was still internally scolding himself, he almost missed the FaceTime call. Answering he watched as Audriana, self consciously fixed her hair into a bun.

"You're so beautiful," Draven said while studying his mate. He let out a sharp laugh when she thanked him, but immediately told him to shut up. Laying back Draven watched as she mimicked him, then he noticed Valin sleeping next to her. Seeing that he noticed their son, Audriana pointed the phone more towards him.

"He's so big," he said softly while studying him. "Trust me I know, the kid can eat. Although I'm not surprised, seeing as how he always wants to be outside. I can barely keep up with him," she said while stroking his hair. Audriana was about to say something, but heard Draven softly snoring. Smiling she placed the phone, on the pillow next to Valin and pulled him closer to her. Closing her eyes Audriana, was happy to be able to help Draven sleep.
