822 A.D
The gates of Novgorod open and Alessia let out a whistle, her horse walks inside and the guards walk up towards her to help her off the horse. She jumps off her horse by herself before petting it; Ivar and Oleg walk towards her. The twins run to stand beside Alessia, she smiles at them as they grab her hands. The doors open and the people inside started to stare at them.
Alessia confidently walks inside with the children by her side. She lets them sit down as a servant takes off her fur coat. "Where is my brother?" Oleg asks as the servants take off his coat. "His Highness will be here very shortly, Prince Oleg," a man replies as Alessia sits down at the table.
Ivar sits down as the servants offer them a cup of water. He looks at the princess who was happily talking to his children. He wonders if she'll ever remember her past, their past.
The doors opened again and the people parted ways. "Askold!" Oleg exclaims as he sees his brother walking in with his two children. Princess Katya and Prince Alexei, Ivar took note of how his wife was staring at the boy. With hatred.
Oleg and Alessia walk up to them, Oleg hugs his brother and bowed to his nephew. "Your Highness," he and Alessia say in unison. "Alessia," Alexei starts and his eyes run over her body. "Looking beautiful as ever," he says and she gives him a tight smile.
"Permit me to introduce you to Ivar the Boneless and his two children. They are Viking, perhaps we should speak in Norse," Oleg tells them and Ivar struggles to stand up. Alexei and his sister look at him, "Ivar, this is Princess Katya and Prince Alexei," Oleg informs him and Ivar notices the red-headed woman, the princess, stare at him with disgust. He looks at Alexei who is just smirking at inching closer to Alessia.
Ivar gave them a fake smile before giving them a small bow. "I hear that you are the famous Ivar the Boneless, scourge of all Christians," Askold says as Alexei takes Alessia's arm and all of them walk to the table. Ivar couldn't help but ignore him as he watches the prince sit next to Alessia.
"Hm? Yes, that is true, but what is fame Prince Askold? A chimera? An illusion perhaps?" Ivar asks him and some people chuckle. His children look at him out of boredom as Askold begins to talk. He grabs a coin, putting it into his hands, closing it before blowing on it. He opens his hand and the coin was gone. Abel and Myrcella hold in their giggles but Alessia, who saw the whole thing, let some out.
Ivar smiles at her but Alexei captures her attention, "What are you laughing about?" He whispers in her ear and her smile falls as she shrugs. "I will contribute to whatever I can to your army," Askold starts and Alessia purses her lips, right, they're talking about invading Kattegat.
"I hope you recognize that as your brother I stand ready and waiting for your commands," he adds and Ivar glances at Oleg. "That and all things, you can trust me." Alessia held in an eye roll as Alexei places his hand on her thigh.
"To conquest!" Oleg shouts and he brings the cup to his lips, Ivar doing the same, but none actually drinking the wine. There was some commotion and clashing swords were heard. "Why aren't you playing?" He asks as he stands up, repeating the question again while walking towards the people with the instruments.
"Dance! Dance!" Oleg yells as his brother starts to have blood run down his face. Alexei and Katya don't even bother to look at him. "Close your eyes," Alessia tells the twins and they did as told. Askold stood up, grabbing a sword, stumbling towards his brother but he collapsed. The flute music stops and Oleg looks over his dead brother.
"It's been a long day, we must rest," he says and Alessia looks at Askolds children. "Aren't you scared now?" She asks them and Alexei touches her cheek in a loving manner. "I give up my claim to the throne and he promises that I will marry you," he says and she glares at him. "What about you Katya?"
The red-headed woman shrugs, "I hate kingdoms."
Everyone walks outside and Ivar makes Abel and Myrcella close their eyes as they see guards on the floor, dead. Oleg starts laughing before all of them leave.
Alexei wraps his arms around Alessia's waist, "Why do you always have the need to touch me?" She hisses out and he chuckles when she pushes him away. "Yes brother, why must you always touch her?"
Katya comes to her defense and Alexei presses a sloppy kiss against Alessia's cheek. She growls, catching Ivars attention, he watches as she cleans her cheek with her sleeve.
"She's mine," Alexei tells his sister and Ivar glares at him. "For we will be marrying soon," he adds and he walks ahead with Oleg.
"I hate him as much as you do," Katya says and Alessia scoffs. "I sometimes wish I knew what happened with me if I knew I wouldn't be here with all of you," Alessia replies with a stern voice before making eye contact with Ivar. His face turns pink before looking away.
"If I hadn't known you for 5 years I would say you love him but you had just met," Katya mutters, Alessia ignores her. "Yes, we just met."

Ivar walks into the room he was resting in after meeting with Oleg's other brother. He sees Alessia on the floor, talking to Abel and Myrcella. "I saw a Tasmanian Tiger, a small animal with strips and a snappy attitude," she tells them, her back was facing him and no one heard him limp inside.
"They could also jump very high, they are so cute," she adds and Ivar smiles at he sees his children smile widely. "I want to see them," Myrcella says and Alessia chuckles. "You will see them hopefully when you're older," Alessia says and Abel looks up. "Father," he calls out and Alessia looks at Ivar.
"My loves," he says before kissing both of their foreheads. The twins look at each other before leaving the room so Ivar and Alessia can have it for themselves. "How are you?" She asks him and he gives her a small smile. "As good as I could be, how are you?" He asks her and she sighs out of annoyance. "Wishing I was dead," she jokes, making Ivar flinch.
"Why do you say that?"
She scoffs before running a hand through her hair. "You know I have to marry that dreadful Alexei," she spits out his names as if it was poison. Ivar instantly felt jealous, what does he have to do to help her remember? He has to do something before she marries that bastard.
"At first we were the best of friends, I lost my virtue to him-"
"What?" He yells and she smirks. "Does that bother you?" She asks him in a teasing tone and he clenches his fists. "H-how do you know if you were a virgin? You did after all lose your memories," he covers up and she shrugs. "I just assumed, god, but now that I think about it...when I had sex it didn't hurt. Huh, I suppose I wasn't a virgin," she laughs out and Ivar slowly shakes his head.
He couldn't be angry after all...he did lay with Freydis.
Oleg walks into the room, "Princess," he says and she looks at him. "Oleg," she replies in fake happiness. In front of Queen Cyla, she acts as if she likes him, but in reality, Oleg is a pain in the ass.
"Ivar," he mutters before leaving. Ivar glances at Alessia before standing up. "Until later, Princess Alessia," he whispers before gently grabbing her hand and pressing a small kiss on it. She smiles at him as he leaves.
"Oh, Ivar, why do you make my heart beat so fast?"
