I opened my eyes to the sound of loud music playing from the living room. Was it dancing day or something like that? As I walked to exit the room, I saw a big, red number 9 painted on the white door. Ethan was crazy, but that's what I liked the most about him.

"Good morning love, I hope you're well-rested, because today is packing day!" Ethan exclaimed when he saw me. He had two suitcases in front of him. "I bought these for your clothes, and this for your personal items" he said showing me a beautiful big bag. I stared wide-eyed.

"E, you really didn't have to..." I said looking at my new belongings. "We have our old luggage."

"You can't travel to the other side of the world with that luggage. You are going to be the most stylish and most beautiful girl in all the continent." He snapped his fingers, making me laugh.

"Are we really going to spend the whole day packing?" I asked, walking towards him.

"We're making it fun!" He said and put on my favorite song. We both started dancing to the music, and before I knew it, I was carrying my clothes from one room to another while Ethan chose which perfume I should take.

"I love this song!" I exclaimed when I heard the soft music of my favorite classical song. I loved it because it reminded me of a royal ball.

"Would you like to dance with me, beautiful young lady?" My boyfriend said offering me his hand. I gladly took it and we started dancing, until we tripped over a shoe and landed on a pile of jackets.

"You stepped on me!" I complained jokingly and Ethan laughed.

"You stepped on me too!" He joked and soon we couldn't stop laughing. We made a mess, but I could really see progress in our packing process. A living room full of clothes became an organized group of outfits and essentials, and then there were only two suitcases full of what would be my wardrobe for the next few years.

Ethan and I both sat down on the couch, tired from all of our packing, dancing and singing.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" He asked, grabbing the remote.

"Of course, but please not Star Wars, we've seen the whole saga twice this month." I said half smiling. We tried to choose a movie but it was really hard, so we ended up watching one of the saddest movies ever made. Titanic.

"Darling, can you please stop crying? I hate seeing you cry." Ethan hugged me. I wasn't crying because of the movie. I was crying because I realized how hard it is to say goodbye, and I was dreading the moment I had to board that plane alone. Only 9 days to go. We watched a couple of movies and then we decided to go to sleep, since Ethan had a big day planned.

"Please tell me." I told him. I was tired of everything being a surprise, and I wanted to know what was his big plan.

"Do you really want me to spoil it for you?" He asked and I nodded several times. "Aww, that's too bad. You're not getting any information from me." He said and moved closer to me, his arms wrapping my whole body. He wasn't much taller than me, but I still felt incredibly small when I was with him. We ended up falling asleep a few minutes later, and for some reason I had a good feeling about Ethan's plan.
