"Wake up, we have to leave..." I heard before opening my eyes. "Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up!" My boyfriend insisted.

"I'm up, I'm up." I said so he could stop. "Ethan what time is it?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"It's four in the morning, but don't ask anymore questions. I need you to get ready and put on some comfortable clothes, alright?" I tried to process all of those words, and when I did, I nodded tiredly and started getting ready. Why did he wake me up so early? I thought while tying my shoes on. I noticed there was a red number 8 painted on the door. Ethan was either fast at painting, or he didn't sleep at all.

"Will you tell me what we're doing now?" I asked with a pout as we were walking towards the car. It was still dark outside.

"I'll tell you when we get there." He replied simply, and I could tell he was trying not to laugh.

"Why?" I asked, getting no answer. We got into the car and Ethan started driving. I wasn't scared, because I trusted him. However, I was nervous. He loved surprising me, and he had the craziest ideas ever, so we were probably going to jump off a plane of get in a boat.

"Because I knew that if I told you, you wouldn't want to come." Ethan replied to the question I asked about an hour ago. I looked at him with worried eyes and he chuckled. "We're here!"

I got off the car and I looked around. There was nothing but a tiny house, with a sign that said Jump!

"E, where are we?" I asked, still looking at my surroundings in confusion. It was like some sort of desert, with some grass and a couple of trees. I knew I hadn't been there before, and it was making me nervous. Ethan pointed at something in the sky. A plane? Then I saw something fall off the plane. I looked at my boyfriend doubtful, and he laughed.

"We are... skydiving!" He said cheerfully. I stared at him in disbelief, but he grabbed my hand happily and we walked over to the shack. There was an old man with a large beard sitting behind the reception desk. The furniture looked antique, but it was a beautiful place.

"Good morning, how may I help you?" The man greeted us and smiled. Ethan talked to the man while I sat on a vintage blue chair, waiting for him to do whatever he needed to do. A few minutes later, the man gave my boyfriend a paper and he walked towards me.

"Our plane is ready." He grinned and I nodded, half-smiling. We boarded the small aircraft with two instructors, and my hands started shaking when it took off.

"Ethan, why are we doing this?" I practically yelled, because it was so noisy. He laughed.

"I've always wanted to skydive with you." He said equally as loud. "Are you scared?" I glared at him and nodded.

"Okay guys." One instructor finally spoke. We both turned our heads to look at him. "We are helping you jump."

The instructors explained the security process and some tips, and then it was time to jump. I looked at Ethan, who was really excited. He was smiling widely and looking down at the ground. His eyes were bright and his hair was messy because of the wind.

"Are you ready?" He asked and I smiled, mouthing a 'yes.'

"You're crazy." I said before jumping. The feeling was indescribable, and the view was amazing. I looked at the blue sky, and over the mountains to see the sun rising. I looked at my side and there he was. The man who was everything I had ever dreamed of, and the only one who could make me smile with just looking at me. The person that I would miss the most when I left.

I enjoyed every second I was on the air. When the parachute opened, I felt more like I was flying and not falling. When we landed I could hear Ethan's laugh, probably because of the messy-looking hair.

"That was fun, wasn't it? I'm not that crazy." My boyfriend said. I laughed a little bit.

"It was fun, but you're still crazy." I replied while taking the skydiving equipment off of me. Ethan planted a small kiss on my lips, making me blush immediately. We thanked the instructors and left. I slept the whole car ride home, because of waking up so early, but when we got there I was still tired.

"Do you wanna go swim with sharks now?" Ethan joked and I looked at him wide-eyed. We both laughed.

"It's been way too much for one day, what if we have a lazy day?" I asked with pleading eyes, making my boyfriend chuckle.

"Of course darling, we can just chill in the house for the rest of the day. Tomorrow is gonna be fun." He smiled. We went to our room and started talking about lots of things. Those random conversations were the best, and I didn't want about not having Ethan next to me to talk about ice cream stories or pillow fights.
