Ren woke up earlier than usual on her days off. She would normally be upset, but she felt the shift of Erwin's position behind her.

His arms gently pulled her closer towards his chest. "Why are you awake this early?" He yawned.

"I don't know. I didn't mean to wake you up." She replied, turned towards him.

"Mmm."

Ren lifted her face up to look in his eyes. "When are we going to have that picnic?"

Erwin smiled. "I was thinking that we could have it around noon, and then dinner at night."

"A date?" She frowned slightly.

"An actual date. Not at a bar, at a proper restaurant of your choice. And we can leave whenever you want."

Her eyes widened. "Wow ok. What time?"

"Whatever time you want." He stretched, kissing her forehead lightly.

They both got up, showered again, and she went to see Hanji, as Erwin stayed at his office to finish up some paperwork.

"Another date!" Hanji squealed.

"Well- last nights date didn't exactly go so well..." Ren blushed.

"What happened!"

"Nothing."

"Ren I have to know!"

"Forget it! Tonight we are starting over, in a restaurant of my choice."

Hanji giggled. "Wow, who knew the commander was as good at following orders, as well as he gave them!"

"I know. But I'm scared." Ren admitted.

"It's just first date jitters. I don't know what happened last night, but I can tell it doesn't help your worries."

Ren nodded. "Help me Hanji. I need a dress, a new hairstyle, new makeup-"

"Don't worry I have you covered."

"Thank you." She sighed.

It was about an hour the date. She wore a black dress, with matching heels. She put on some lavender eyeshadow, and black mascara. Light red lipstick, and curled her hair. She was okay with her appearance. This was as far as she could go. She didn't want to overdo the make-up either.

Erwin picked Ren up at 6:00 sharp just like she had asked.

"So where are we going?" He asked, giving her a pack on her cheek.

"In Sina, the 'Pioneer' it's supposed to be great. I made reservations under your name."

Erwin smiled. "I see you've completely taken charge. I think it's very attractive."

Ren rolled her eyes.

"Your dress is beautiful. The hair looks enchanting." He tried again.

Ren couldn't help but smirk. He was trying really hard to get on her good side tonight.

The ride was kind of long, mostly silent.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The client asked her. Erwin greeted them with a small smile, which lit up her face.

"Reservation for Erwin Smith?" Erwin spoke. The client nodded, saying to follow them. He placed them at a table. It had a nice tablecloth on it, and was cleaned recently. The smell of cleaning spray filled her nose.

Once seated, she gave an innocent smile to Erwin. He smiled back, causing blood to rush to her face, and look away.

"Someone's flustered," He chuckled.
