I walked down the outdoor hallway to my Biology classroom, not even sure if I should go in. First day of school and I automatically get afterschool 'detention' for the rest of the school year.

I wasn't thinking about my walking and blindly ran into someone. I do that all the time, so I just apologized under my breath and started to speed away.

Whoever they were grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back to them. "You should really watch where you're going, girl."

I couldn't help blushing as he called me my gender. As if being a girl made me ashamed or embarrassed. Jeez, who the fuck is this guy??

He smirked, bending down to reach my height. Releasing my shoulder he stood straight, and did a soft "closed-eye-smile". "The name's James."

I looked up at him, and trying not to stutter, I asked him, "J-James what?"

He chuckled softly and sat on the hand-rail. "James nothing. Hey, you haven't seen a guy called Virus around, have you?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Okay...? And um...no, I haven't." Looking past him, I could see the ground about twenty feet below. "Y-you probably shouldn't sit on that.."

James No-Last-Name grinned, before putting all his weight on it. "Oh? Why not?" Suddenly there was a loud groan and the bar fell out from under him.

"That's why."

He fell, I could only watch from the railing. Right before James was gonna hit the ground a pair of wings sprouted from his back, ripping his Asking Alexandria shirt right off his torso, and he flew upwards quickly.

"I have to admit, that did surprise me." He was hovering in front of me now, his wings sending a small breeze in my face. "But, I bet you're surprised too, am I right?"

I tried not to look as appalled as I did, but I had to admit he was right.

"Though, I don't remember you from any fandom..."

He chuckled again, perching on the railing that wasn't broken. "I'm not. I'm a fallen angel."

James watched my reaction, doing a hair flip with his blue-green locks.

I then thought of something. "Hurry! I know who you'd be awesome with!!" I grabbed his hand and we ran past the biology room, down the stairs, and to where all of my friends get together after school everyday. "Raven!!?"

"What it--" She and he saw each other and I could've sworn there were sparks.

"I'll just... go..." I scooted away as Raven felt James' wings and I knew they'd be good together.

Someone behind me cleared their throat and I gulped, turning around slowly. "....Oh."
