Chapter 6

I guess you could say the kiss lasted awhile, they soon pulled away breathing heavily and staring at each others eyes.

Sonic was smiling while shadow was shaking with small tears.

" Sooo...why'd ya do that?" Sonic said teasingly. Shadow looked at sonic with a heartwarming smile.

"You stood up for me, when nobody did, I thought people just plain out hated me. I actually believe for once that someone cares about me." He said truthfully. The blue hedgehog looked surprise. He didn't know the smaller hedgie felt this way.

It made sonic happy to see him like that.

POV SONIC

We kept looking at each other, both of us blushing a bit. To be honest with you, I think right when shadow came to this school that I could already tell he was different. Not in a bad way, in a loving way.

I knew that maybe I was gonna get to know him more, and after I saw how people treat him, I want to stay with shadow and protect him.

"So, is this a thing? Like me and you?" I spoke. Shadow just looked at my with a light smile.

"I would love to be with someone like you, you're the nicest person that I've ever met. I want to be by your side." Shadow said with a loving smile.

"I guess imma accept this offer. I would love to be with you too.." I said as I held his hand. He leaned on my shoulder and snuggled against me. Enjoying every last second of this.

"Excuse me, I just got a call from your teacher that you both ran out of the class room without permission." The principal said as we looked at kept looking at each other.

"Come to my office you will be calling your parents to tell them about this and then after school you both will receive detention for this behavior. You should know the rules here Mr. Hedgehog, and I expected better of you shadow." He finished.

I looked at shadow and could see that he was shaking a bit. I guess he's never been in trouble like this? He seems like a student who would never get in trouble. So I guess I can see why he was a bit nervous.

"Hey you okay?" I whispered to shadow.

"Uh y-yeah, hehe.." shadow whispered back a little shaky. I could tell something was up and he didn't wanna tell me.

We both followed the principle into the office. It was a bit small, kinda cold, and it had an odd feeling in it. Like you've feel like it's some like hospital or something.

Me and shadow entered the office and sat on two chairs right by each other.

The principal sat in his chair and started typing on his computer, and then he looked back at us.

"So may you both please explain why you left the class, and sonic why you had the little outbursts. You know how we take our policies here in this school. You should know how to treat a teacher." The principal looked at us but mainly me lol.

"I think my parents told you enough about my anger issues, and you should remember how much money they helped with this school. It'd be wrong to call them about their son don't you think?" I looked at him with a smirk. My parents have put a lot of money to help this school financially, cause they're um...*cough cough* rich.

"Mr hedgehog is this some sort of blackmail cause if that's what your trying to say then I have no problem suspending you." The principal looked at me seriously.

"I'm just saying it would be wrong to do that." I said staring at him.
He sighed in frustration and looked down at his keys. "How about a lunch detention and no phone call."
