Chapter 2: •Meeting•

~Vivian's POV~
as i slowly woke up, i groaned at the bright sun beeming in through my curtains
{Vivian's Bedroom}

when i finally got up out of bed i reached for my light remote, turned them on, set the color to pinkish purpleish and started on my way to Venus's room.

as i walked in i had seen her tv on but she was no where to be seen. i walked over to her bathroom to see if she was in there, she wasn't. so as i started walking down the stairs i saw Venus talking to some random guy, i ran towards her and pushed her out of the way. "Um excuse me, who are you and why are you here?" i asked in a serious tone, not noticing that the man had 5 other people behind him. "Hello, my name is James, James Gordan. i'm here to speak with Tony Smith." the man spoke. "Yes that is my father, he is out of town for the weekend so it's just my siblings and i." i said, noticing a cute boy around my age looking into my house. "Would you like to come in?" i asked politely "Sure" James said.
as they walked in i offered to get them something to drink, they politely declined my offer and we continued walking to the living room where Joseph was asleep on the couch.
"I'm sorry, my brother isn't really a morning person." i said with a disappointed face. i pushed my brother off the coach as he woke up.
"What the hell V!" he yelled at me with a mad face. "We have company.." i said quietly as he slowly turned around to see the 6 people standing behind him. he smiled awkwardly just standing there. "So what was it you wanted to tell our father, Mr. Gordan?" i asked walking up to stand behind my brother. "Um.. were here to talk to you 3 about your mother, Lila Valeska" i froze in fear as i heard the words coming out of the mans mouth. Venus has jumped at the sound of our mothers name. i was freaking out walking back and forth trembling at what he had just said, Joseph noticed and spoke up. "I'm sorry Mr. Gordan but Vivian and i aren't gonna be coming to Gotham just for her to tell us some thing we have already heard a bunch of times!" he yelled with a serious face. "Um well that won't be a probably because... um... your guy's mother is died." i started full blown crying at this point. i couldn't believe my mother had died, from what, how, why! "So what do you want with us?" Venus asked the man. "Well up we would like you 3 to tell us about your mother, and brothers." i immediately stopped crying and looked up at James with an angry face. "What did you do to my brothers?! DONT HURT THEM!" i screamed as Joseph and Venus held me back. "I'm sorry James, she has Bipolar so her anger can't control itself" Joseph said as i started crying, falling on the floor. the cute boy came up to me and said "Don't worry Vivian, it's ok. we just want to ask you questions about them" he smiled at me. god was his smile so warming and bright. i smiled at him and stood up. "What do you want to know about our brothers?" i asked the detective. they all sat down on the long couch as Joseph, Venus and i sat on the table across from the couch.
"Tell us about your relationship with Jerome Valeska" "Well um i was never really his favorite but him and Venus got along really well, they were best friends until our mother sent us to live with our father. Joseph and i were only 10 at the time so we didn't really understand why we were leaving but we did it anyways." i said with a sad face. "Wait so you and Joseph are..." "Twins. Yup" Joseph added.
"Right ok, tell me about Jeremiah" Jim asked.
i smiled at just the thought of Jeremiah. which freaked out everyone in the room except for Joseph. "Jeremiah... well he is really smart, kind, quite, and is always building something. Him and i would always hangout and sketch things into his notebook." i started to tear up which Joseph noticed and offered to finish my sentence. "And when Jeremiah had left when we were 7 V wasn't really ok for a while. she wouldn't get out of bed for days on end and that's when we realized she had Bipolar, just like Jerome. Long story short she didn't take Jeremiah leaving very well." Joseph said. "I'm sorry about that but were gonna need you 3 to come to Gotham with us. Vivian, Venus, and you need to talk to Jerome." i froze and shook my head. "V, look at me" Joseph said grabbing my arms. "Venus will be able to talk to him. You can do this V, i believe in you" he said while smiling at me, i smiled back and hugged him tightly. after pulling away from Joseph i looked at James and said "Fine but we leave today so Venus can see Jerome and so our father doesn't find out." i said with a serious tone. "Deal" James said.

••• 3 hours later •••

~3rd Person POV~
as Vivian was finished putting things into her suitcase, she walked into her bathroom and got dressed in leggings, a grey sweatshirt, and black boots.

when she walked out of her bathroom she jumped and sqeaked as she saw a boy standing at her door. "Oh my god i'm sorry. i didn't mean to scare you." the cute boy said. "It's fine" "Are you ready?" asked Vivian. "Yes" she said standing tall looking at the boys eyes.
"Sorry i didn't tell you my name earlier. My name is Bruce, Bruce Wayne" the name sounded familiar. "What a nice name Bruce. i would tell you my name but you already know it after my brother had said it so many times" i giggled at my words. stood there admiring the 16 year olds smile. she blushed at that. just then some older man walked in. "Vivian, Bruce it's time to go." he said politely. as we walked out of the house Bruce had come up behind me and whispered in my ear "You'll be alright, i'll be there with you the whole time, i promise" i smiled at him as the older man grabbed my suitcase, put it in the back with Joseph and Venus suitcase as well. we then got into the big van Gordan was driving and started on our way to Gotham.
and hour in the car ride i learned everyone's names, the woman's name was Lee, the other man was named Harvey, and the older man was named Alfred, he was Bruce's butler.

i was really nervous coming over the bridge to Gotham City because i haven't seen Jerome or Jeremiah since i was a kid and i don't want anything to happen. i'm really scared
