Hiki's POV
Before I knew it the 20 question were done even though it was way more than 20. I didn't mind learning about her and I only had 10 minutes left on my break, I'm surprised how she didn't already walk away an never answer me. Maybe if this actually goes well we could be friends or are we already friends?
Ugh that is already getting me confused I only had a few friends and honestly they were jerks and girls just really didn't just want to be friends with me. They were just pushy but Kaylie seems different I'm glad.
I didn't know she was even going to come to where I worked. I Wasn't ready for that surprise but the one thing that been bugging me is her lip is hurt, she's hurt. But I left the subject alone because she basically just said it was nothing when I asked her about it.
So I can only assume she doesn't want talk about it right... though I forgot how to talk or I don't know how to talk to her, her stare felt warm but a little nice and completely uncomfortable to the point I want to move but I stayed.
probably because I was staring back at her, it was silent or was it just me being silent while she talked. If she was talking I couldn't hear her god what could she be thinking of me?
Probably something like this guy is a creep or some shit. Heh, hell maybe I am. But who wouldn't when a girl that is nice, kind, an hurt walks up to you actually talking to you on your break. I can't say I like her but I like her.
She looked down at her phone, and immediately had a fearful looking face. "I um, have to go, I'll see you again sometime maybe? I-I don't know, oh god sorry I'm rambling I should really uh... Go. I'll text you? Or you text m- nevermind." She got up and quickly walked off and out of the door.
I thought about what maybe scared her homework, siblings, parents maybe she has somewhere to be. "Hey shithead work!" I snapped my head over and looked at tyler. "I m-mean your turn Highfin." He walked into the employees only room. I wasn't even mad I cant say its not hella funny though.
*1 and 30 minutes later*
My brother Amalo wouldn't be home until later. Neither of my parents car's were in the driveway which is normal and a reliever. I walk up the few stairs and struggle with the lock and my keys please not this shit again. "God ddammit!"
I walked down the few stairs and walked around finding one of the small trees or medium so I could grab on to a branch and pull up to get over my fence an through the back door. I ran up to the back door and opened it then went to the front door and unlocked it for Amalo.
I ran upstairs an struggled getting the useless key off my key loop then tossed them by my now charging phone. I changed into something that could count as running clothes so just joggers and a tank top.
The one that when I told my mom not to get the gray one misheard me and got the gray one all the rest were soaked in sweat and dirt in the clothes hamper.
Even though its cold out I don't brother putting on anything warm when I'm running, I run down stairs almost tripping while pulling one of the shoes I stepped on back up then went out forgetting my phone. As the cold hit me I ran back inside and grabbed it not caring about the poor charger that was connected to it. It's now probably lost and possibly broken for how much I don't pay attention.
I ran back out and put my earbuds in slipping my phone in my pocket and going for a run. I have been getting better at running this is my second year of track when I was already a sort of a good runner from the year I was in football.
I can't lie I hated the sport it was a little too much for me and I didn't really like being a linebacker either the only reason, I tried it was because of my cousin. Which my cousin he loves the whole thing he is actually a quarterback but I have to say I lost all respect for him.
