Nothing but Love

~6 Months Later~

I smile as Loki and I walk into the dining hall. Tonight we're celebrating the fall of the Jutons and the end of the war. We take our seats between Thor and Fandral and begin to eat. Suddenly Odin stands up and the room falls silent. "I would like to dedicate this toast to all of our fallen warriors and our victors. You have all fought hard and I thank you for that. I am immensely grateful for all that you have sacrificed to keep the Nine Realms safe. I also dedicate this to the new princess of Asgard!" Odin announces raising a goblet into the air and nodding at me. We lift our goblets and drink. I sit my goblet down and look over at Loki who takes my hand and stands up. I follow Loki to the balcony as everyone turns to look at us. "Maralyn, my darling, I have loved you sense the day I laid eyes on you. You are my entire world and I couldn't imagine what I would do without you." Loki says as he drops to one knee. "Which is why I must ask you this. Will you be my partner in crime for the rest of our lives?" Loki continues as he pulls a beautiful golden ring with a large green gem in the center of it out of thin air. "Yes!" I shout as tears come to my eyes. Loki places the ring on my finger as he stands up and wraps his arms around me picking me up and spinning me in the air. I laugh as everyone starts cheering and clapping. We walk back to our seats and Fandral stands up and wraps his arms around me. "Did you know about this?" I ask as we pull apart. He nods and we both laugh. "Come my love." Loki says as he grabs my hand. He leads me out of the dining hall and through the castle. "Where are we going?" I ask. "Midgard darling." Loki tells me as we exit the castle and walk through the city. We cross the bridge to the bifrost where Himedall waits for us. "Congratulations. Midgard I presume?." Himedall says. "Thank you and yes." Loki says. Himedall opens the videos and Loki and I appear behind the Avengers compound moments later. I laugh as I grab Loki's hand and run to the back door. We run through the compound untill we reach the door to the living room. "Don't say anything yet I wanna see how long it takes for someone to notice." I whisper as I turn to Loki. He nods and we both walk into the living room. "Maralyn oh thank god!" Dad yells as he vaults himself off the couch. He runs over to me and wraps his arms around me as tight as seemingly possible. Everyone gets up and comes to give me a hug. "Why are you here?" Clint asks. "Well sense the war is over I thought I would come see you guys." I tell him. Clint nods and we all sit down. I look around the room and see Wanda's eyes widen and a huge smile appear on her face. "You're getting married?!" she shouted excitement filling her voice. I look over at Loki and nod. "Wait what?!" Dad yells. I look over at him and show him my ring. "Loki may Steve and I talk to you for a moment?" Dad requests. Loki gives my a nervous look.  "Go on. They may look scary but I promise they don't bite." I tell him. He lets out a shaky breath before following dad and Steve into the hall. "So where are you guys having the wedding?" Pietro asks. "Probably either Asgard or Wakanda." I say. "How the hell are we going to get to Asgard?" Clint asks. "I'll have Thor come and get you." I tell him. "Who's walking you down the isle, Steve or Bucky?" Tony questions. "Probably both of them." I say as I shrug my shoulders. I hear the door open and turn around to see Loki, Steve, and dad walking with huge grins on thief faces. "What did you do to them?" I ask Loki as he takes his place next to me. "Nothing." Loki tells me as a small snake appears in his hand. I gasp and reach for the snake. Loki smiles and allows the snake to slither into my hand. "It's so pretty." I sigh as I look down at the small black snake. "Just like you my love." Loki laughs. I giggle as I hear Clint and Pietro start to fake gag. "Oh shut up you two." Natasha chuckles. "Well we best get home my love. We have quite a bit of planning to do." Loki says. I nod and we say goodbye to everyone before heading out of the compound and back to Asgard. I smile as Loki and I walk through the halls of the palace and to my room. When we get there we change and go to sleep
