Then next morning goes by in a blur. First I wake up to no Loki and a note attached to a pale green dress telling me to go find Sif once I got dressed. After I found Sif her and Fandral took me to Midgard to speak with my family about the wedding. Once we had gone back to Asgard we met with Loki and started planning. By the time we were done the sun was going down. Loki and I decided to walk to the spring. I bet down next to it and placed my hand in the water. The water rippled as it shifted to show Loki. I smiled as I stood up and backed away from the spring. Loki stepped toward it and placed his hand in the water. I watched as the water shifted to show me. He smiled as he turned to face me. "So who will be walking you down the isle?" he asked as we slowly walked toward the castle. "My dad and Steve." I tell him. He nods as he takes my hand in his. "We need to go to the tailors tomorrow." he says. I hum as we walk through the castle to my room. "Good night my love." he sighs as we lie down and go to sleep. "Good night." I mumbled as I laid my head on his chest.
A few weeks later I stand in my room with Sif, Wanda, Natasha, and Pepper. "You look amazing." Natasha says as she helps me into my shoes. "Thanks." I laugh. "Shit we gotta go!" Pepper shouts. We all head to the entrance to the garden. I smile as I see Thor, Fandral, Hogun, and Volstag waiting in front of the door. I look around and spot Steve and my dad walking over to us. The girls line up by the guys as the music starts. I link arms with my dad and Steve and we stand behind the others. They walk out and down the carpet and I catch a glimpse of Loki before the door slams shut. "God you've grown up so fast." I hear Steve sniff. "Please don't cry Papa." I laugh. Steve's face lights up at the name and he looks between dad and I. I look over at dad and smile at the tears rolling down his cheeks. "God damnit I told you not to cry." I groan as tears fill my eyes. "I'm sorry I can't help it!" he laughs. The doors fly open once more and my smile widens as I see everyone stand. I scan the scene as we walk. Finally my eyes lock on Loki as we get closer. "You be Good to her." dad commands. "Or else you'll have all of SHEILD after you." Steve chuckles. They take their seats and Loki takes my hands in his. "Ladies and gentlemen we are gathered here to day to witness the union of Maralyn Barnes and Loki Odinson." Himedall tells everyone. "I've been told that you have prepared your own vows." he adds. Loki nods before speaking. "My darling, sense the moment we met I have loved you. You are my light in the darkness and my one true love. I promise that I will love you forever and always." I smile as tears fill my eyes. "Loki we have gone through so much over the past year and I'm so thankful that we have lived to see this day. I love you with all my heart and I'm extremely happy that we get to spend the rest of our lives together." I say. "Maralyn Barnes, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Himedall asks. "I do." I tell him. "Loki Odinson, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He questions. "I do." Loki says. "You may kiss the bride!" Heimdall shouts as he steps back a little. Loki grabs me by the waist and connects our lips. We pull away breathless and I stair into his green eyes. "I love you, Loki." I murmur. "And I love you, Maralyn." he whispers.
