"David?"

Gulat kong tanong. After 2 years... 2 years of nothing. Di ko alam gagawin ko ngayon na nasa harap ko na siya.

"Miracle I-" he started to talk pero i was starting to panic. Niligoy ligoy ko ang tingin ko sa paligid, hoping to find an exit. I want to get out of here. Di ko kaya makita siya ngayon. Why did he have to appear right now?

He must've read my face kasi nakita ko siyang biglang humakbang ng palayo. Pero di parin ako maka kalma. 'Kaya ko to. Kaya ko to' bulong ko sa sarili ko.

"You're here..." i said so low i thought he wouldn't hear. Pero who was i kidding? Of course, he heard me.

"I come in peace." He said while raising both of his hands in surrender. Natawa ako sa ginawa niya and when he saw me laughing, naki tawa na din siya.

"It's so nice to see you again" he said after a minute of us just laughing around and then stepped towards me again and hugged me so tight. Para akong biglang nawalang ng hininga sa ginawa. Naramdaman ko din nanigas ako sa kinakatayuan ko at di alam ang gagawin.

Having him near me again after 2 years is making me feel things i dont want to feel.. things i knew i buried a long long time ago.. but for some reason, his touch is making me feel something. Something i knew i shouldn't feel. His touch is making me feel safe..

I hugged him back at lightly patted his back and i felt him hugged me more tightly. And once again nakaramdam ako ng kakaiba sa ginawa niya. This cant be happening. Not after 2 years!!!!

He let me go and smiled at me before saying

"So have you heard? Mag kaka reunion daw yung batch natin sa Theater noong college tayo!" He started chuckling "they were pestering me nonstop begging me to come kaya ayun napa lipad ako from LA to Manila just to attend the reunion."

I was spacing out at di agad nakasagot.

"Miracle?" He asked me with worry laced in his voice.

I snapped out and doon ko lang narealize na para akong sira na nakatitig lang sakaniya. Ano nga ba ulit sinasabi niya?

Re... reunion!!!

"Sorry. Medjo lutang pa ako." I shyly admitted.

He chuckled and messed my hair up. What the... why do i find him chuckling cute? No no no. May Bryan ka. And You love Bryan. Umayos ka Miracle!

'Stop lying to yourself Miracle'

"So the reunion.." he started

"Yeah... kinukulit ako nila Jay about it. Di pa ako nakaka bigay ng sagot sakanila. Medjo busy kasi sa company nila dad."

He nodded at what i said and syaka nag patingin tingin sa gilid namin. What was he looking at?

I took this chance to study his appearance, and sa loob ng 2 years na di kami nag kita, i must say a lot has changed. His hair is shorter than the last time that i saw him. It wasn't shaggy anymore, but there was till hint of it. His muscles were broader and more visible. Someone has been going to the gym. But most of all his face. There was lil bit of stubble in his chin. His nose was still the same pointy nose that i fell in love with. And his eyes. Full of spark and emotion.

Still the same David that i knew 2 years ago
