After chasing behind him, I manage to walk beside him. Looking over at his face as it seemed as if he was thinking of something which seemed it was troubling hin

"Wukong? Are you alright?" I ask, he scoffs and looks away. Unsure, I walk beside him closer

"Wukong, what is wrong? I can tell something is bothering you and I wanna know why.." I said

"...do you really wanna know?" He ask as he looks over at me, I nod as he stops for a bit as he stand and stares down at me

"...I..dont know what I was thinking.." he said

"Huh? What do you mean?" I ask unsure by now what he means

"I mean...look at me...back then, I didn't know what I was thinking. I was so angry and blinded that, I didn't realized how what it was leading up too, it was only leading up to my own imprisonment and...im not even sure I'll ever be free again.." he said, hearing this really hit me. I mean, sure his tantrum ruined his own freedom and the people around him but, that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a second chance

"Sum Wukong, sure back then things went bad and it didn't go how you thought it was going to go but, were now living in the future. This isn't the past.." I say as I put my hand on his shoulder, he shakes his head and puts my hand down but still holds onto it

"But...this chain I have...its a sign of the burden of my own mistakes..let alone, I dragged you down here on earth..no wonder you were angry to see me.." he said sadly, seeing him like this only made my heart pin knowing it was the fault of the people at the jade palace but also himself

While Wukong was still staring down, I smile as I hold onto his other hand which surprised him, he looks up at me. I smile kindly to him

"What happened it doesn't matter to me now, what matters is you're still here standing and you are surrounded by friends" I say happily, he scoffs as he usually do

"That Kid, the little girl and the pig? Seriously?" He ask, I chuckle lightly and nod

"Sure they aren't the..best company but it's better than not having anyone here to hear you out.." I say, he smiles softly as he leans himself closer towards me

"You're a better company I'll admit that.." he says lowley, staring up at his eyes as he stares back at me. A strange feeling was wiggling behind my back...like...a tail was wiggling up and down as if...i was excited...

Feeling this feeling made me feel...as If it was right...like, this is how it's supposed to feel...like--

"Great Sage!!" Hearing a yell from a close distance, we let eachother go quickly as we looked away not seeing eye go eye to eachother

"Great Sage! Alya! Wait for us!!" Hearing Liuer yells as I turn to look back at Liuer and the little girl behind us. I smile at him happy to see him

"Liuer..you took a little long...im glad to see you in no danger!" I say happily, he nods

"I told you we were going to be alright! Besides! Pagoda King wants to challenge The Great Sage!" He says happily

"Do you mean the pig man?" I ask, Liuer nods

"Uh-huh! Look! I have him right here--" before he lifted his arm up, in his hands was a stick. His face turn to surprised as Wukong chuckled and turns back around

"That's strange...he was there just then..." he said as I smile at Liuer

"Maybe he left somewhere, it seems he was kinda busy...come on Liuer" I say as I walk beside Wukong as Liuer and the little girl ran behind us as  Liuer was now next to me
