"It's been nearly two months John, I don't think they're gonna stop staring at us.""It has?! Boy time sure flies.."
"Nah it hasn't. Just commenting on how long it's been since there was an update to this book."
Hey!! Well anyways, time to get back on with the plot. You chose option one, so the dragons will speak unlike in the real His Majesty. But don't worry, George will still meet with Pattie.
"Humans, we mean you no harm.." The large orange dragon assured to them. "Unless you're one of those knights hired to slaughter us.."
"Huh? But I thought dragons would waste no time killing people. That's what king Albert told us anyways." Stu wondered.
"We were only defending ourselves after the great war many years ago.. Those who fled took refuge in a hidden alcove far from the kingdom after the humans emerged victorious.."
"Wow.. I never knew this. Wait.. How can we trust you?"
The light blue dragon bent down to pick up the two squires. "We can take you to meet our scholars, they keep track of everything that goes on in the world. If we were truly evil, we wouldn't have taken in Corona." She explained.
Looking over at the scruffy teen, whom they assumed to be Corona, they knew she was right. "You took him in?. Even though you know what the humans have done to you?. That is if we have just attacked you for no reason."
"The reason being money, selling our innards on the claim that they cure all illnesses, using our bones as decorations.. We have families of our own, we don't wish to fight any longer."
"Well.. If you insist."
The dragons were more than happy to fly John and Stu to their hidden village, they were getting tired from walking all the way. When they landed, they were surprised that it was nearly identical to the old town they grew up in. "Just with dragons instead of humans.."
"Oh, our names are Gelid, Inferno and little Rose."
"Nice meeting you.. You seem to know perfect English for dragons."
"Well it was the option that the readers chose. Ah, here's Buddy, Valens and J. P."
"Ooooh so that's why she finally decided to update this story today!"
Yeah yeah, anyways, time for another option!
Should we have the three dragon scholars explain every little bit of history to our squires?
Or should they look around the village before getting lectured?
