Chapter 2: Press Restart

There were several fast food places up ahead so they stopped and got breakfast for everyone. Eli and Nick were both in line together at Burger King.

Eli: "You really like her don't you?"

Nick: "Yeah, she's so sweet and beautiful and talented!"

Eli: "You should ask her out."

Nick: "I don't know about that. There's no way she likes me like that."

Eli: "I think you would be surprised."

They get their food and head back to the bus. Nick keeps thinking about what Eli said.

*Fast forward to when they get to the venue*

Dani: "Alright guys, we have to get set up, do sound check, and then meet & greet and q&a!"

Cassie watched soundcheck and now they are getting ready for the meet & greet when Sean comes up to her.

Sean: "You totally like Nick right?"

Cassie: "What? What makes you say that?"

Sean: "You're always hanging out and talking to each other. Plus, I saw you staring at him during soundcheck."

Cassie: "Okay, maybe I do, but there's no way he likes me back and I'm not ready to be in a relationship."

Sean: "You're so clueless."

Before she could ask him what he meant by that, Dani comes in with all of the meet & greet fans. One by one, they introduced themselves to the guys and Cassie would take their picture. After the meet & greet and the q&a, Misterwives did their soundcheck and then everyone went backstage and ate pizza. Cassie noticed her phone ringing and saw that Sam was calling and just ignored it. Mandy comes over to her.

Mandy: "Hey what's up?"

Cassie: "Just eating and thinking."

Mandy: "Thinking about what?"

Cassie: "I broke up with my boyfriend about two weeks ago. I found out he was cheating on me."

Mandy: "I'm so sorry, that's awful."

Cassie: "It's alright, he was kind of a jerk anyways. I thought getting away would help, but I'm still a little sad."

Mandy: "It's okay to be sad. He hurt you. Just know that he wasn't the guy for you and that there is somebody out there who is going to love you."

Cassie: "Thanks. I appreciate that."

Will: "Hey Mandy, we got ten minutes until we're on stage!"

Mandy: "I guess I better go, hang in there."

Cassie: "Thanks and good luck!"

She walked over to the side of the stage with Kevin and watched Misterwives perform. The two of them were dancing around like idiots and having the time of their lives. Cassie soon forgot about feeling sad about Sam. Misterwives then leaves the stage and Walk The Moon comes out. Cassie walks around and takes pictures of them during their set. They finish their set and the concert is now over. They all pack up and head towards the busses. Cassie goes to her bunk and edits some of the photos she took until she gets too tired and falls asleep.
