^^ Claire's father ^^
Blood.
That's all I saw.
Who would've thought that I'd be killed by my lover.
Pathetic, isn't it?
Me, a proud assassin with an almost perfect success rate, killed at the hands of the one person I trusted.
The bullet pierced threw my heart, figuratively and literally.
He purposely held an innocent child hostage and forced me to stand down so he could shoot me.
He knew my one weakness: kids, and used it against me.
I bet I'm going to hell, with all the people I've killed.
Ha ha, serves me right.
This is probably karma for everything I did in life.
"Ah~ this thrill is just like when I killed your father. It's so satisfying seeing you two proud people at my mercy~ I don't think I'll ever get a thrill like this again."
Father?
He's the one who killed my father?
He's the one who I've been searching for my whole life to kill?
I . . . I can't believe it.
Not only did he kill me, he revealed that he was the killer I was searching for my whole life, mere seconds before I died.
That sadistic prick.
I'll never forgive him.
Even after I die (which is probably going to be in a few seconds) I will find a way to haunt this jerk and make his life a living hell.
I swear it.
After making that conviction, a bright, blinding light suddenly shone in front of me.
Huh, I guess people really do see the light when they die.
When I could finally see again—
Wait, see? Aren't I supposed to be dead.
Whatever.
When I could see, I was standing on a bunch of clouds and was in front of a good desk with a person with wings on thei—
Wait, hold the fuck up.
Wings?! Did I become delusional or some shit?! This can't be real.
"It is real," that person said.
The fuck.
"Please watch your profanity, the people here don't like it that much."
"Sure, I guess?"
Behind that person was two large, gold gates that looked like they were a million feet tall.
"Welcome to heaven, name please." The person asked with a sigh, obviously tired of their job.
Wait heaven? Damn, this shit is getting too confusing for me.
"You'll get used to it. Name."
"Woah! Can you read my mind?" The person looked annoyed.
"Yes, name?"
"Right, Nakamura Yui."
The person stumbled through a couple sheets of paper before sighing.
"It seems," they said, "theres been a mix up—"
"Does that mean I'm going to hell? I knew it."
"No, it means, you weren't supposed to die the way you did. You died saving a kid when you were supposed to die when you were seventy-six, by a truck."
I always knew truck-sama would be the one to kill me.
"Anyways, I'm going to transfer your soul into a body that's supposed to die today. Her name is
Yamaguchi Haruki. If you somehow get some prodigal skills, thats just a perk God wanted you to have. Think of it as an . . . apology of sorts."The person waved their hand and I slowly started disappearing.

When I looked around, I saw a bunch of maids around me, asking if I was okay.
I guess Haruki—me was pretty rich.
"Claire-sama, you shouldn't be moving around too much, theres still some poison left in your system."
Claire?! Wasn't my name supposed to be Haruki?
I looked around the room and sat in shock at my reflection.
I had blond hair, long legs, a small face and large, brown, shimmering eyes.
Damn was I beautiful.
"Claire-sama, Raymond-dono is here to see you." That same maid from before said.
In came a man with dark brown hair and a refined face. His black hair slightly covered his eyes and gave off a messy feel to it, but the aura he presented was one demanding respect. Honestly, he looked beautiful.
"My daughter, how are you feeling?" He asked, his face crinkled in worry.
Holy shit, I'm this beautiful man's daughter?
A'ight then, I guess I'll follow along with this shit.
"Much better father."
"Are you sure, there was quite a large amount of poison in your system, the doctors were sure that you wouldn't survive."
his brows furrowed with a worried expression on his face.
"Alright, if you say so."
Ah—
A sharp pain shot through my head as the memories of this body started to flow into by brain.
My full name was Claire Reinheart.
Wait . . . That name sounds familiar.
This setting too and my father too.
I . . . don't think I'm supposed to think these people are familiar.
Something's off here . . .
All of this, it reminds me of . . . an otome game I played before: Kingdom of Love.
This body too, it looks like the younger version of the villainess in the game, Claire Reinheart.
FUCK!
I somehow became the villainess!
