^^ James William ^^

"We'll leave you kids alone for now, to let you get to know each other." The king said and dismissed the two of us.

In the game, the king was never mentioned, so I was curious to see what type of character he was.

Right now, he seems kinda neutral to everything.

Apparently, there was a picnic set up for us in the garden, one of the kings ploys to get us closer probably.

"Your highness, would you like some cake?" I asked from where I was sitting, showing him a slice of cake.

"Why would I ever eat something touched by the likes of you." He said in a very haughty tone.

He probably was expecting me to fawn over him like everyone else does.

That dammed brat!

A tch mark appeared on my head and I grit my teeth to stop myself from saying anything rude.

Endure it, endure it . . .

This is for the father who spoiled you rotten and worried for you when you were sick.

ENDURE IT!

"I'm already gracing you with my magnificent presence, so you should be honoured."

And then, I snapped.

"You spoiled little brat; just because you're a prince and everybody tries to butter you up, doesn't mean that you can go around thinking you're the best person ever! If anything, because you think of yourself like that, the more pathetic you seem." I hit his face.

I forgot how he was before he met the heroine.

He was a stuck up,, arrogant brat who thought he was superior to others because of how people adored him.

Eventually, he turns into somewhat of a playboy and flirts with every girl he sees; even though he already had a fiancée.

That was one of the first things to turn 'Claire' into the villainess.

She would always lash out at the people who he flirted wth; blaming them for seducing him, never believing that he was at fault because of her overwhelming love for him.

Then the heroine comes along, she was the first person who rejected him and peaked hi interest.

After a while, the prince finds Olivia climbing a tree to save a cat stuck in there, running her dress in the process.

She thanked him after and ran away, which usually girls in that situation would swoon.

So, the prince chased after her and Olivia starts liking th prince for who he is instea of his title, eventually changing is personality to become kind.

"W—Wha?" Albert said in a surprised tone.

"Y—You hit me . . . Not even my own parents have ever hit me . . ." He trembled.

I'm probably going to regret this later, but someone needs to give him a dose of reality, I can't live like this for another ten years when he finally meets the heroine.

"You and I are not that different, accept that now. You may be a prince, but when it comes down to it, we're both still human. If you keep going on like this, then you're going to make a lot of enemies. As your fiancée, I'm going to keep you safe, but if you keep acting like that, I'll jut abandon you." I finished.

Shock was written all over his face, him probably still processing what I was saying.

"H—How are you supposed to protect me?" He asked.

Oh? He was actually listening to what I was saying.

"Keep, this a secret," I bet down and smiled, one hand was on my back and the other was on my lip.

"But I'm actually really strong."

"Like I'd believe that." Albert snorted.

It seems like he's fine now.

"Is you face alright now?" I asked with my hand extended to help him up.

He took it with his eyes widened a bit hesitantly, "of course not!"

"It's will make it all go away," I said before I kissed him on the cheek where I had previously hit him.

His face erupted in red for a moment, then he ran away in a random direction.
