I was too preoccupied with the prince that I forgot all about my adopted brother.

Right now, he looked very uncomfortable—not that I could blame him; he was suddenly picked up from the local orphanage and was forced into stuffy clothes, a brand new, strict lifestyle and was being forced to lean etiquette, swordsmanship and politics.

Honestly, I would be worried if he didn't feel uncomfortable.

"Liam, this is Clare my daughter." Father explained.

Liam didn't look like he was going to introduce himself anytime soon, so I did first.

"Hello," I shook my hand out to greet him with a big smile, "I'll be your new sister starting today."

"Hi." Was his simple reply.

In the game, Claire introduced herself as the princes' fiancée and acted as if she was better than him.

After he introduced himself like that—because he didn't know any better—Claire grew furious with him.

After that, every time Claire saw Liam, she would abuse him, writing them off as accidents.

For example, one time Liam was passing Claire while she was having tea and Claire dropped the boiling hot substance on him, saying it was punishment for not greeting her properly.

And to stick up for himself, he tried to get mad at her, but as soon as he did, she would burst into tears and get Liam n trouble for nothing.

So on top of living such a stressful life, he also had a bratty, abusive sister to deal with.

Eventually getting enough of his life, he decided to rebel against it.

At first, he simply started slacking off with his duty as heir.

Later, he would do all sorts of things to make him seem like a terrible heir and perched his ears.

He would also frequently leave the estate and do whatever he wanted, anything to get away from being a perfect heir to represent the dukedom.

He went around swooning all sorts of people and became quote the player.

Until the fateful day the heroine arrived.

At first, Liam tried to swoon her like he did to all the other women, but she was unaffected, leaving him curious about her.

They continued to unexpectedly meet each other because of a beautiful thing called plot convince and as they spent more time together, Olivia would find the real Liam; not the duke's heir or the bad boy, but him.

She told him, "you don't have to be perfect, or live up to everyone's expectations, you just need to be you."

And of course, Claire got in the way of this and almost ended up killing Liam and Olivia by pushing them into the ocean, so she was beheaded.

But there is no way in hell I'm gong to let that happen.

His life sucked, and he's just a normal kid who's scared and uncomfortable in a new environment.

I have always wanted a little brother and I want to help him as much as I can since we're going to be family.

Even if I can lessen his stressful days and lessons a bit, I'll do all I can to help him.

"I hope we cane get along well."

I didn't get a response and he just left.
