Chapter Two: A New Start

Reece was awoken by taylor shaking his shoulder and he realised he fell asleep on the floor
Taylor: you fell asleep on the floor
Reece: oh
Taylor: yeah and holding your guns like that aswell you could've killed yourself
Reece looked down and realised his revolvers were both pointing towards his mid section
Reece: holy shit these are loaded aswell
Taylor eyes widen as she snatched the guns away from him and put them aside
Reece: hey
Taylor: sorry it was instinct
Reece: you were worried about me were you
Taylor rolled her eyes as she turned around and walk to her bag
Taylor: no i was not worried about you
Reece: oh
Taylor: im going to shower so no peaking
Reece: excuse me ive never
Taylor: huh huh sure im not as stupid as you think ive seen you watching me before
Reece: erm cayde dared me to
Taylor: yeah yeah im sure he did
Taylor closed the bathroom door and reece sighed as he waited for her to come out then he heard her shout from inside the bathroom and he ran to the door
Reece: hey you ok taylor
When he heard nothing he kicked the door down to find taylor wrapped in a towel and looking at him in shock as he breathed heavy
Taylor: w..what are you doing
Reece: you shouted and i didnt hear nothing and then i thought you were in trouble or you hurt yourself or something
Taylor: woah woah im fine im fine calm down i just forgot my cloths thats all
Reece released a breath he was holding
Taylor: wait a minute why were you so worried anyway
Reece: i er i erm your my friend why wouldnt i be worried
Taylor: we never acted like friends reece since his passing
Reece: i know its my fault im sorry
Taylor was shocked reece has never ever said he is sorry to her and here he was saying he was sorry
Reece: its my fault he is dead and its my fault were not as close as we used to be all i want is to go back and swap places with cayde he shouldnt of died because i wasnt watching my surroundings
Taylor could hear the pain in his voice and so she did the only thing she could think of and she embraced him
Taylor: hey listen it isnt your fault you never could've seen what was happening and as for us its both of our faults i hated you not for what happened but for how you do things but i guess i should realise that is how you do things and as much as i hate you taking the biggest risks i'll always be there for when it goes wrong
Reece didnt say anything he just held her in his arms until he pulled back with his eyes closed and he pulled the towel up around her
Reece: it fell while i was hugging you so tell me its tightly around you
Taylor smiled as she rewrapped the towel around herself
Taylor: ok you can open
Reece opened his eyes and smile at her
Reece: so is this how it feels when we nice to each other
Taylor: yeah now i think about it i kinda miss how we were
Reece: what our constent flirting and annoying cayde
Taylor: yeah do you think it will ever be like that again
Reece: i dont really know we were friends then and now well im not sure
Taylor: me neither
Reece: tell you what how about we start over and if it doesnt work out then you can go back to hating me
Taylor: sure i like the sound of that except the hating bit but i want a deal with you
Reece: ok and whats that
Taylor: if were planning at least stay until it finished and in return i wont worry as much about you running in
Reece: really? Then count me in
Taylor: good so deal
Reece grabbed taylor hand and shook it
Reece: deal miss hansen
Taylor: good now go shower you stink
Reece pouted as he turned around and walked straight into the bathroom door
Reece: holy fuck who's idea was it to put that there
Reece heard little giggles from behind him so he turned to see taylor giggling at him
Reece: ohh laugh at my pain missy
Taylor: im sorry but you were going on about who idea was it to put a door there
Reece: hey its in the way
Taylor: just go and shower
Reece: im going im going
Recee walked into the bathroom remembering to open the door first but he came back out a second later in just his boxers just has taylor had finished putting her under wear and bra on
Taylor: erm y...your staring
Reece: r...right sorry forgot my cloths
Taylor: i...its fine
Reece disappeared back into the bathroom and taylor release a breath she didnt realise she was holding so she could carry on dressing so by the time reece came back out ahe was fully dressed and looking in a mirror
Reece: careful there can only be one beauty in the room
Taylor: what are you emplying
Reece: that your beautiful i said years ago and if anything your more beautiful than before
Taylor blushed at reece comment
Reece: so what are doing anyway you've been staring at that mirror for a while
Taylor: i cant decide if i should leave my hair down or do something with it
Reece: erm may i do something with it?
Taylor: huh you do something with it?
Reece: yeah i have an idea in mind so erm may i
Taylor: erm sure
Reece smiled as he grabbed a stool and sat behind her
Taylor: i didnt know you could do hair
Reece: yeah after we erm split up after the passing of cayde i went to stay with a friend here not here as in hereford base
Taylor: i know what you mean
Reece: yeah so she had a little daughter around the age of five or six and she abosulutly loved me doing her hair even if it was shit but after a couple of week i came up with an idea for her hair but i moved out before i could try it
Taylor: well its looking good so far
Reece smiled as he carried on doing her hair and once he was finished he put the braid on her right shoulder
Reece: so erm what do you think
Taylor looked at it in the mirror and smiled
Taylor: i like actually i love it
Reece: im glad
Taylor: you got this hair style off a certain dreamworks movie
Reece: yeah their daughter was obsessed with it and i kinda watched with her for hours and after seeing it i might of learn out to do two off astrid's hairs styles
Taylor: you know your a massive kid right
Reece: yeah
Reece looked in the mirror and he could see taylor's face and his and he started laughing
Taylor: what you laughing at
Reece: ive just realised your have the excate same features as astrid your a blonde and you have blue eyes
Taylor: oh hahaha i guess i do
Reece: anyway less kid stuff and onto more important stuff like food
At the meation of food taylor stomach growled making her blushed dark red
Reece: well that answers where were going now doesnt it
Taylor: yeah i guess it does
Reece got up and offered her his hand
Taylor: why thank you
Reece: no problem
Taylor: do you think its going to freak everyone out how we've change over night
Reece: maybe i just know im going to questioned if we had sex or not considering our change to each other

The two walked out there room and down the hallways

Suddenly reece grabbed her hand and dragged her down and hallway that she was about to walk by but he forgot to let go as he dragged her into the cafateria
Reece: see told you i knew where i was going
Taylor: yeah yeah
Reece laughed and went to walk off but felt his something stopping him so he looked back at taylor
Taylor: what?
Reece: we're still holding hands
Taylor looked down at there hands
Taylor: oh sorry
Reece smiled and went to sit down on an empty table and realised everyone was sitting in their teams S.A.S on one table the fbi on another so reece sigh and pulled taylor along with him to an empty table
Taylor: so any reason why you dragged me to an empty table
Reece: everyone else is sitting in their teams so i just followed along i guess
Taylor: oh ok you do realised you dragged me by the food though right
Reece: ohh sorry i'll get it what do you want
Taylor: anything will do
Reece: come on that isnt an answer
Taylor: fine fine i'll have the same as you
Reece: okay dokey
Reece walked through the tables and grabbed two trays of food and was walked back to his table when someone shouted at him
???: hey you do know its one tray per person
Reece turned around to see lion looking at him
Reece: yes i do know that
Lion: then why do you have two trays
Reece: ok your either blind or fucking stupid one is for her dickhead oh here you go by the way
Taylor: thank you
Reece went to sit down but lion grabbed his shoulder
Lion: oi you think you can just ignore me

Lion chuckled as he grabbed reece tray and swiped it to the floor making taylor and the others watch on
Reece: oh well i guess i'll starve today
Taylor: here take half of mine
Reece: no no its fine taylor but thank you anyway
Taylor went to slide her tray over to reece but lion grabbed her arm and she smirked at him
Taylor: ohh you made a mistake

Lion went slidding along the floor until he hit the fbi table making him stop and everyone watched as reece stomped over to him and picked him up by his neck
Reece: now listen here oliver yeah i know your fucking name your the dickhead that tries to pick on anyone new and i dont really care what you do to me or anyone else for that matter but her ohhh you do not touch her
Lion: and if i do
Reece brought his face millimetres away from lion face
Reece: then i fucking kill you
Reece threw lion and on the ground and started walked back to his table when he sae taylor nod so he turn around while pulling out on of his revolvers and shot lion's leg making scream and fall to the ground
Reece: ANYBODY ELSE WANNA TRY AND TOUCH HER
Everyone stared in shock at reece who sat back down as if nothing happen as for taylor she smiled at him
Taylor: wow someone is protective of me
Reece: your all i have left
Then harry came through the door and sighed
Harry: what happened this time
Lion: that bastrd shot me
Taylor: in reece's defence harry oliver approached reece and began to torment him which he didnt react to but he lay a hand on me and lets just say he is very very protective of me
Reece: you touch her you will be lucky to live
Harry: hmm considering what happen to you too in the past i can under the protectiveness from the both of you as for you oliver you should've know better
Lion: your take his side he could've killed me
Taylor: believe me oliver if he wanted you dead you would be
Reece: i sense some protectiveness come off you taylor
Taylor: no one insults you and get away with it
Ash: i dont understand you two hated each other yesterday

Reece burst out laughing as he looked at taylor who shook her head
Reece: i told you they would say that didnt i

Reece: no max we didnt fuck but last night i thought about my life and realised she is the only closure i have left and im not about to lose that

Reece: yeah you should do

Taylor: oh no we just back to our old selfs before the passing of our leader

The two looked at each other and laughed

Everyone stared at reece

Taylor smiled as she looked back to see ash sit down
Taylor: so i see oliver is gone
Everyone turned to see a blood line leading out the room and down the hall
Reece: hahaha this is like a zombie film dont follow the blood line taylor lets follow it

Then harry walked in once again
Harry: reece, taylor, eliza, jordan and mike come with me
Taylor: but reece hasnt eaten
Reece: i'll be fine taylor

Reece: seriously i'll be fine its just one day
Taylor: oh ok
Reece and taylor hung back from the other three who were following harry to where ever
Taylor: hey i just wanna say thank you for what you did no one has ever done that for me
Reece: its no problem and if im honest i should've been like this year ago
Taylor quickly kiss his cheek causing him to freeze as she carried on walking ahead with the others and when they walked into a debriefing room hardy noticed reece's wasnt there
Harry: where is reece
Taylor: he will walk in right about now
Just as she finished sentance reece walked in
Reece: sorry i need a piss
Harry: thats fine so are you happy to go on a mission this early
Reece: im down
Taylor: so am i
Harry: good so you guys will go to this base located in switzerland and deal with this white mask general as for the plan of attack im going to get that job to your taylor since your new i want you to plan this attack is that ok
Taylor nodded
Harry: good so gear up you leave in ten
Reece: hahaha wooohoooo
Taylor started laughing as she grabbed his arm

Reece ran down the hall then stopped
Reece: erm which way to the guns

Reece ran down the hallway and into the armoury and rook was already in there

Reece: yep mission in ten my team should be here in a minute
Rook: ohh so what weapons you taking
Reece: erm i dont know actually
The taylor walked in with the team

Reece: yeah sounds good what you taking

Reece: erm well we have four assult rifles so why not an smg for close quarters that is your best area
Taylor: true ok i'll take the mp5 thanks reece

Reece walked over and lifted the crate up for her so she could get it

Reece turned around as quick as possible then burst out laughing

Reece: im sorry but its funny thats like six feet in the air and your only five foot three

Reece walked over and picked taylor up and placed her on his shoulders and she was now high enough to get her gun
Reece: hey can you grab mine aswell please
Taylor: ok
Taylor grabbed his aswell and reece put her down

Thatcher: well since taylor is planning id say her

The team ran out and got onto a helicopter and were flew out to the location and this mission would change two lives alot
