(Hi! So, quick warning: this chapter is focused on fears and messed up reality, so it's going to be kind of effed up. TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE AND VIOLENCE. Keep in mind, it's not real, and the end will be fluffy)

Baku POV
I'm nervous. Something I don't tend to dwell on is fear, but that's also meant I'm not aware of what truly scares me. I can tell Eijirou is nervous. He's holding my arm, tapping his fingers rhythmically. I give him a small smile, and receive one in return.
We quickly change into our hero outfits. Eijirou walks over to me and asks, "are we wearing full costume?" while holding up his mask. I shrug, putting my own black one on. He thinks, then puts it on.
"You know, you look really cute in that," I tell him. He pinkens, and looks away.
"COME ON, YA GUYS!!!!" Alter Jester yells. We hurry out into the open Training Facility. Alter Jester is talking to Aizawa softly, and Mina, Kaminari, and Sero gather around Eijirou and I.
"So." Mina says, waiting for an answer from us. I give her the middle finger and walk away. Before she can reply, we're silenced by Aizawa.
"Hey again! For this training, we'll go one at a time, due to my quirk's limitations. To decide order, I'll draw names from a hat," Alter Jester informs, holding up a UA baseball cap. She rustles around, and finally settled on a name, opening the sheet of paper.
"First to go will be...Katsuki Bakugo! Please come up here!" I freeze. Of course. I put a nonchalant look on my face and walk up to her. She grins.
"This'll be easy," I mutter. Alter Jester gestures for me to follow, and we move into the center of the gym.
"I'll be able to see your fear, but no one else will. You're about to enter What I call the FearScape. Ready? Let's begin."

Enter FearScape

I look around. The room is entirely empty, except for a red door labeled: Eijiro's Room! Do Not Enter! Curious, I walk towards it. I place my hand on the cold, rusty knob, and open the door.
I wish I hadn't.
The sight makes me dizzy. A body hangs from the ceiling: My Eijiro's body. I run forward, hoping it's not true. I stare, the only sound being the creak of the rope. Small splashes of blood are on the floor underneath, still dripping from the slits on his wrists.
I failed.
I couldn't protect him.
I feel tears run down my face as I grieve my failure. Eijiro's red hair is down. He never wears it down except when we're alone. A piece of paper is on the ground, next to the toppled wooden chair. I read it, eyes wide with shock.
This world is not my place. You tried your best, but the world is to blame. Maybe one day we will meet soon again, just look at the Moon to see the error of my ways.
I fall into my knees.
"GODDAMNIT!" I shout. I look back up to see him gone; Alter Jester is kneeling down in front of me.
"You okay?" She asks. I feel my classmate's stares. I shake my head. "That was...a very deep fear."
"No shit."
She sympathetically smiles, a sad, remembering look in her eyes.
"I should continue," Alter Jester tells me, standing. "After their turn, do not interact with the person who just went for five minutes so they can recuperate. Next, can I have Kyoka Jiro?"
After my given five minutes, arms wrap around me.
"What happened?" Eijiro asks. I look at him and think: it wasn't real.
"...can we talk?"
"Of course."
We find a corner of the gym to sit in, and I hug him, saddened.
"Don't hurt yourself," I demand. Eijiro looks at me incredulously.
"Why would I? I have you!" He smiles. He puts his head on my lap, and I play with his hair.
"My fear...god. You we're hanging from the ceiling of a room, with a note saying you don't belong in this world. I felt like I had failed you," I sniff, unable to hold back my tears. He cuddles into me.
"Sorry, but you're not getting rid of me that easily," he laughs. I study his deep red eyes, wanting confirmation it's really him. I give him a soft kiss on the nose, getting a 'boop' in return.
"Love you."
"Love you too, baby."
