Bill the Babysitter

Ford was in the lab along with Dipper and Mabel when it happened. Mabel had been goofing around despite Dippers warning, she knocked over a vial. Upon impact it shattered releasing a purple mist that enveloped the 18 year old Dipper and Mabel. When the mist cleared The young Pines twins were exactly that, young. Much younger than they were just seconds before. They were now 7 years old. Ford turned around and saw them. He ran over to them and picked them up, taking them up stairs. Ford came back down and started to clean up the glass. He read the label and saw it said, 'Youth Formula'. Ford immediately went to search for the antidote. He found a way to make it but the journey to get the ingredients would be treacherous.

Ford went up stairs to talk to Stanley, "Stanley, I found the recipe to make the antidote, but the trip to get the ingredients will be difficult. I will need your help,but we can't leave them here as time goes on. Their minds will become that of their eight year old selves. They won't remember anything past their eighth year of life. After that their brains might melt."

"Might? What do you mean might? How did this even happen?"

"It was an old experiment I did using water from the fountain of youth. It didn't work like I had intended. Once I learned how dangerous it was I got rid of it all. At least I thought I did. We need to hurry, but we can't leave them by themselves."

"Where are we going to find a babysitter?"

Just as Stan asked that question, the front door opened and they heard that annoying voice they knew all too well. "Hello Pines family!" Bill yelled.

Ford turned around and said, "I think we found our babysitter."

"What do you mean by babysitter?" Bill asked.

Ignoring him Ford turned around to face Stan as Stan asked, "You think that is a good idea?"

"No, but it is the only idea I have for now, and were running out of time." Ford said as he pointed to Dipper and Mabel who were playing around." They were playing around. It was evident they only had their 7 year old minds now. "We have to go."

Bill just stood looking at the younger Pines twins. "Wow, they got younger." At this Ford turned around and walked to Bill, a serious look on his face.

"Bill. You are to look after them as me and Stan go and try to fix this. If you hurt them in any way I will make sure this death is permanent. Understand?"

Bill, still looking confused, didn't reply as Ford picked up Dipper and forced him into Bill's hands, then hurried out the door. Before Bill could protest the Stans were gone.

Bill just stood there until Mabel came up to him and pulled on his pant leg. Bill Looked down as Mabel said, "You have pretty hair Mr. can I brush it?" Bill didn't respond. Dipper wiggled out of Bill's grip and ran to get the journal. He held it up to Bill who looked at it.

Bill just looked at him. "You want me to read to you?" Dipper nodded. Bill sat down cross legged. Dipper sat down on Bill and opened the Mabel grabbed a comb and began to comb Bill's hair. When Dipper got to the Bill Cipher page Bill pointed at an illusion he made of a golden triangle with one eye in the air. Dipper looked at it questionably. Bill just said,"Me." Dipper smiled understanding. Bill actually turned out to be a good babysitter. Bill was actually having fun.

When the Stans returned they were shocked to see Bill asleep with the young Pines twins laying on the couch holding the twins protectively with a smile on his face. Ford made the antidote and woke up the sleeping Dipper and Mabel, careful not to wake Bill. They drank it and came back to normal. Still tired they fell asleep in Bill's arms again. They slept happily.
