Sero x Mineta Fanfiction (MHA)

Chapter 4: Playdate

Mineta's POV:

We left the mall with our icecream and started walking back to the academia. Me and Sero with talking and he continued making bad jokes. But I knew this was sort of the start to getting him to go to the dance. "Are you thinking of going to the dance by any chance?" I ask. He sort of shrugged and said "I'll probably just go by myself". That's new. Most of the girls are taken, then. "We could be the bachelors at the dance, I suppose." Sero says smoothly.

"Oh, Cellophane doesn't have a date?" I said, a bit surprised. Wait,so Sero was single? I've only been single for, I dunno, my whole life. "Yeah, no one really is my type around here. If anyone really does want to go out with me, then they should save it for the dance." He says, eating some of his waffle cone. He notices me looking around shyly and tapping my index fingers together. I obviously looked nervous about something. "Did you expect me to have a date?" He exclaimed.

"To be honest, I guess I did. Well, we're here." I say stopping in front of the academia. "Message whenever you like on Discord. If you're busy, that's alright. See ya!" Sero exclaims while running off inside to his dorm. I wave good-bye and finish off my icecream. I walk inside making my to my dorm as well. I notice Denki making his way out of his dorm and his vision goes to me.

"Uh, hey Mineta. Where were you?" He asks. "The mall." I respond. "Doing what?" He replys. "Shopping, ate Taco Bell and icecream, played hide and seek." I say opening my dorm door. "With whommm?" He questions in a stupid manner. I really didn't want him to set me up with Sero. If I do love him, I could handle this myself.

"Just chilling with Sero." I say. Then Denki just stands there with a dumb shocked expression on his face. Before he said anything, I walk inside my dorm and shut the door on him. Dodged a bullet. I go to my desk area and open up my laptop. I search up Discord, download it, put in my email. I think for a minute what my user- name should be, so I come up with "Grape" and type it in. I get the gig of the whole Discord stuff, and I look on my arm to see Sero's Discord name.

"ClearTape74". How creative. I type the name in the search bar and I find him. He was online. I join his server and he seemed to be the only one on. I decided to type something so that he knew it was me.

Grape: hey it's me, Mineta.

ClearTape74: seriously? grape? more like prune if u ask me. xD

Grape: shut hell up. im trying to get used to this.

ClearTape74: wanna voice chat?

Grape: okay.

I grab my headphones and mic and put them on my head, and then I receive the voice chat. "Does your Dollar Store headphones work, Grape escape?" He teases. "They're from Wal-Mart, for your information." I say irritated. "I was wondering if you wanted to play anything?" He asks. "We could play Minecraft." I answer. "Oh, sweet!" He says sounding excited.

We play Minecraft for a while, as if a single thing mattered in the world. When we were finishing up our house, I placed my bed down, but then he placed it next to mine. "Sero, I could literally see you smiling right now." I say. He started laughing, and then he moved the bed. Part of me wanted to tell him put it back. We went in caves, visited The Nether, so it was real nice. Hanging out him was just so...relaxing.
